Lovely little place by the water. Cream teas are good. Don't forget 20% off with your Sealife or Adventure Island pass.

Went here with my mum and 2 daughters for an afternoon tea which was very nice and quite popular looking around. The venue is very nice , staff were lovely , views were great . Food was nice and good prices and i would recommend

Having been impressed with Sands in my previous visits, the vegan sausage and chips was awful this time. It is what vegans could expect 6 or 7 years ago. While everyone else has progressed and impressed since then, Sands have regressed and disappointed. This wasn’t a sausage. It was a cylindrical pile of what appeared to be freeze-dried vomit. Awful to call this a sausage. And we had to wait almost 40 minutes for it.

Amazing, made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in, then they showed us to our reserved table but also was given the choice if we wanted to change. The cream tea itself was absolutely fantastic full of choice and fresh ( even had to box some to take it home 🤣) 💯 will be returning.

I loved this place! We chose it as we got a voucher for a free kid meal from the nearby Adventure island. We had a great table with a lovely sunset over sea view. The service was fast, the servers very professional. This place has so many options to choose from and they offer glutenfree options as well, which is amazing. I usually do not get to enjoy traditional fish and chips because of my allergy, so having this option really made my day.

We had not been to Sands for a couple of years , this was our first visit since lock down, As usual the staff were friendly and the service quick and efficient. We had our two young grandsons with us and the Kids meals were very good, quality and size of portion. As ever the fish and chips was great.Overall it was a very good visit, ideal with a young family, we will be back.

I ordered a chicken burger but as you can see from the pictures, the meat was anything but Chicken! Can you see how they slapped a PIECE of vegetable in the burger. The audacity!Total waste of money - I couldn’t take a bite. Luckily my kids were hungry and ate their chips which seemed to go down well or maybe they were just really hungry. I received two vouchers from the adventure land theme park but my kids didn’t want a meal (thank God) but wanted ice cream instead. Their staff refused to exchange A FULL CHILDRENS MEAL for a small cone of ice cream. So absurd! I’ve only put 2 stars because my small fam were able to stay in the restaurant for a couple of hours till our coach left. Expected nothing less after spending the amount we did on fake chicken.

Food was better than expected, catering for vegetarians too. There were a load of noisy kids in the afternoon tea area which did spoil the occasion though.

It is a good place to eat, however I think I was not their target audience but it does seem very family ordinated. So this place is good for families as it has option that children would enjoy and it's near to a few attractions. However as an adult it felt weird to eat my meal out of a to-go box and having to a side of peas, beans or whatever with my burger. Food was tasty however my order was wrong.Would probably not come back, but that has more to do with the target audience then anything. Food was tasty.
