Sara's Tea Garden in Southend-on-Sea

Gorgeous little cafe right by the sea. We had a lovely breakfast. It has air conditioning inside and a cute garden that's kept lovely outside (under cover).

What a lovely little gem this place is! I've visited Southend and Leigh for the long weekend and this was one of the loveliest spots I've encountered during my trip.The staff was super kind and attentive, garden and decor were perfect, it was really relaxing.The tea is served in a porcelain set. Great. I went for the set menu curated for the Jubilee and the chicken curry sandwich was delish and the scone was definitely freshly baked. What not to like about this place. Lovely.

Superb service from Sara's Tea Garden. On time & world class service. We ordered lots of sandwiches, cakes, scones and cutlery for my passengers lunches to take on there boat trip around the Thames Estuary. They were very fresh & healthy. Excellent organising, selection & fantastic packaging by Sara too. Sara even ordered me a coolbox to keep them chilled for when we go to sea. Highly recommend this place in Old Leigh for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thank you to Sara and team for making it a special occasion for us all. We will be definitely using you again soon. Recently l has a nice walk along the coast, from Southend-on-Sea to Leigh-on-sea and came across this tea room. Tge menu was very good and l decide to have a lovely cream tea, which was very tasty. I woukd recommend coming here!

An amazing brunch in the famous Sara' tea room. Sara's had been on my todo list for a while but never got round to it. A quick drop in visit on Sunday afternoon did not disappoint. We got seated right away and the ladies were amazing in ensuring we both got what we wanted. Food came very quickly, nice prepared and super yummy. Oh I love the ladies pinafore dresses (made by one of the team members). Highly recommend visiting Sara's if you are in Leigh on sea. Its a dog friendly place... lots of cute doggies and she has amazing dog treats ❤️

Could not fault it. The staff were very accommodating and moved things around so we could squeeze in with a buggy. Service with a smile was lovely to see. The tea was very nice, the hot chocolate was amazing and the cake was superb. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area. Probably worth booking during busier periods.

Was visiting Leigh and found this pretty little tearoom. Very quaint indeed. The staff wore a smile and they all were very polite. The prices were very reasonable. It was a chilly day and we sat in the under covered garden. There were throws for every chair and we were also offered a hot water bottle!I opted for a cream tea and my partner tucked into a slice of Victoria Sponge with a coffee.Lovely place - highly recommend if you want a quick bit. Dogs are welcome too!Old Leigh is a pretty place to visit and Sara's Tea Garden sits in a prime location close to the sea.

I couldn't believe how many choices on their menu there was to choose. For someone with special dietary requirements I was excited about the huge gluten free, meat free and caffine free choices there were. They even have a dog menu and offer dog blankets from November and therefore are very dog friendly. Lovely decoration. Be careful when ordering for your dog as some ingredients on dog menu contain sugar. Yummy yummy

The best lunch we have had for a very long time. Both Salmon and Sea Bass cooked to perfection. Friendly helpful and very efficient staff that were so welcoming to both ourselves and our 2 Cocker SpanielsA must visit venue for anybody in the area with or without a dog.Oh and they have a separate menu for dogs our 2 loved the doggy sausage omelette.
