Southchurch Park Cafe in Southend-on-Sea

Helpful staff, food good and sat outside in lovely surroundings.

Very nice place with plenty of indoor and outdoor dining space to spend a nice afternoon in the park. Pet-friendly, they even have a little bottle with free dog treats; such a nice gesture.

Lovely little cafe but seriously understaffed... long wait in a queue between tables full of diners which was not pleasant for them I'm sure

Southchurch Park Cafe is an absolute joy! I frequently visit with my brother, the staff are always friendly! They are so accommodating, on our recent visit I made it known that I was hoping to arrange a family get together, with several family members in wheelchairs, I was advised that if we let them know the date in advance that tables will be able to be reserved!

Lovley little spot to get a brew and a slice of cake, water bowls and treats for dogs too.Lovely staff and a good range of cafe food and nibbles.The problem is their counter service is painfully slow, serving one customer at a time so there is always a long wait and queues out the door. Please please please can you have a look at it.I've been using the park for years but generally avoid the cafe due to the long queues.

Another lovely morning and an excellent place to stop for a bite to eat. Great value. Good food. Lovely staff 👍👍

Nice park to walk around. Fair amount of free onsite parking although always spaces in the road. Cafe for coffee and snacks still open with inside or outside seating.

Weak cup of tea but reasonable prices. Cafe offers home made cakes and basic hot meals. Pleasant park with a large pond that has an area for model boating.There is a very large grassed over field used for ball games and picnics. The park also sports several well kept flower gardens and children's play area.The public toilets however are very old fashioned and in need updating.

Nice piece of bread pudding, lovely sit outside in the sun with a mug of tea. There was a bowl of water there for the dogs as well. Definitely coming again to have something to eat.

Fantastic park. You can visit the kids park for swings etc. It has a basketball Court, Football pitch. Bowling. Field for dogs. Cricket. Lake and a cafe which sells lovely food, cakes and ice- cream. There is also a toilet. The place is always presented lovely and is clean. Highly recommend.
