Syrtaki Restaurant in Southend-on-Sea

Really lovely green restaurant in Westcliff.Food was delicious. I had the octopus starter and then moussaka and was not disappointed.The staff are very helpful and friendly. Providing recommendations too. I went for a work dinner, and the restaurant was welcoming and accommodating.The only thing was the wait for food, I think because we were a big group. The waiting staff, although lovely are maybe slightly inexperienced. With many plates/glasses being dropped through the evening.All in all, an enjoyable evening and I would definitely go back.

Lovely evening out, with food that is full with the colours and flavours of Greece. Portions were just right and really well presented. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Was great to see live Basouki music which gave a traditionally friendly ambience to the restaurant. Only thing missing was the ''local stray cat''

First time at this wonderful restaurant, Had a lovely meal me and my wife would highly recommend the food was amazing. Very good quality of service. Hope to see you again soon.

We very much enjoyed our evening here. Food was excellent!!. Very friendly staff. Together with live Greek music made us feel like we was on holiday. Definitely recommend this restaurant

Lovely three course meal with friends. A brilliant evening out with delicious food, generous portions, great service, and unexpected quality entertainment. I highly recommend.

Well unfortunately one of the most painful meals in my life. Two hours into the meal and we still didn’t have any main courses. Cold room with bright light and very loud life music that you can’t hold conversation. Not sure that it’s a good experience. I would never recommend this place.

You do not get a better meal, the service was sport on and take a look at these photos the Mrs took. Have tried a fair few Greeks up and down the Uk and this is by far top tier ! Once again a pleasure to eat there, thank you so much to Stavros for the great service.

I visited this restaurant a week ago with my sisters and we were served by Stavros. The ambiance was really good and food was really good. Stavros was welcoming and amazing with helping us make the right food choice. Will definitely come again. Thank you

Great and tasty food, good atmosphere. The only issue we've had was a little bit slow service but maybe because of short staff which is understandable this days. Therefore 5*

Went there without reservation so had to wait 35 mins, but that's ok. The restaurant looked busy and we had to wait for the food 35 minutes.... food was not too bad but portion was really disappointed. I ordered pork gyros platter which contains meat, tzatziki,salad and chips. Well meat was fine, but there was less than 1 tbsp of tzatziki and 3 slices of tomato.... they should not be making compromises with the food just to serve more people. Also i asked for bread that never came...
