Tarantino Italian Restaurant Leigh on Sea in Southend-on-Sea

I heard shouting in the kitchen from the owner to his staff for most of our dinner. It was a very unpleasant experience.

Decided to visit after seeing recommendations on Facebook. What a find. Beautifully cooked food. An extensive choice of great Italian food and a really friendly atmosphere even though we were the only people eating at the relatively early hour.Would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting something authentic and full of great flavours

Had a lovely meal just before Christmas.It wasn't very busy which was a shame as the food deserved a better audience.The service was also excellent.

A surprised found.Great food and flavours.We love our meals. My risotto served with chicken grill was just the way I love it.😋Great hosts. Attentive, professional and friendly.Spectacularly hygiene.The way they split the restaurant up to arrange the tables, turned the place into nice and cosy making you enjoy feeling some privacy.A fantastic atmosphere where we were very pleased to be in.We will definitely, return.

Ordered takeaway from them. We had 2 mains which were lacking flavour. Also 2 portions of garlic bread. They came in one pot. Why would you assume that I dont mind sharing a side with someone from one container. At first I thought one was missing due to very small size but I guess it now cost £6 for 2 small slices of garlic bread. Next thing you going to do is put 2 of same mains in one pot and expect me to divide it between me and my mates.

Decided to try this restaurant for the first time today for my mums birthday. It was last minute and we didn’t book. We both found the staff very friendly and the hospitality was superb. The food was reasonably priced and came out well presented. We both enjoyed our food very much. We both had the 3 course meal which all dishes tasted lovely. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning back soon.Thank you

Always great food, and staff attentive and pleasant. But beware if there's a table with three sad old biddies, apparently it's too noisy and they don't like people having fun. We did though, and we will be back👍🤣

A very nice experience... Been to many Italian restaurants.. But I feel this is a cut above the rest... Its only been open for a couple of weeks.. But we thought we would try.. Waiters are your typical friendly Italian waiters very helpful and loads of charm... The starters we very good and had lots of flavour was not disappointed at all.. The mains for the three of us would very good as well. I had the monk fish and shrimp on the screwer... With rice.... Now I found the fish a little bit dry but the rice was amazing. The taste was delicious. My daughter had the monk fish wrapped in parma ham and again it just tasted a little bit dry. Like the fish had just over cooked. But the rest of the dish was amazing..... My wife had the seafood linguine and we asked for some extra spice which was Deliverd she loved it.Deserts were fresh and very tastyThe atmosphere was very good and relaxed.Cost slightly above the average but worth in my opinion the cost.Would definitely go again..All I can say is good luck in the future.. Do what your doing now and you will do good....Thank you for a pleasant evening...

Just had Saturday lunch here, first visit to this restaurant. What a fabulous addition to the food scene in Leigh-on-Sea. Food was excellent, spotlessly clean premises and nicely decorated. We will certainly be back. Will take time to establish a client base, but with the quality of food I’m sure it will become a firm favourite.
