"The Corner House is a family run independent business and one of the longest established cafes in Southend-on-Sea, now in our 21st year. We have a large mostly traditional British menu including carved ham with eggs & chips, steak pie & chips, omelettes, oven baked jacket potatoes, toasties and baguettes & crusty rolls and much more. Our burgers and veggie burgers are homemade and we have a very large breakfast menu including traditional set breakfasts with lots of options like homemade bubble & squeak, plus muffins, croissants and breakfast sandwiches. We are licensed to serves alcohol with a meal and have a kids menu with colouring page. We also make online deliveries through Justeat and Ubereats."

My daughter was filming in the area and we stopped for breakfast,. It was fantastic,Thick bacon, Eggs that were great and not oily, Toast that was wonderful, I would highly recommend this place. Even though they put the Beans in a little pot 😃

Thought I'd pop in for brunchplenty of seats.the corner special was worse lve had eggs frazzled swappable bacon sausages tough like wood.took pics.never again tea like dish water.& paid for this disapointment

Ordered via Uber Eats and can't fault the service.The food was mediocre, however. The Half Pounder with Cheese was overdone, bland, and mostly tasteless. Curly fries had the texture of cardboard and must've been sat out for quite a while.The only redeeming quality was the Kinder milkshake

Had a problem with just eat, told the restaurant and they delivered it themselves and recooked it! Great customer service, and best place for a fry up. Highly reccomend

Found out about this place through a just eat delivery mistake, when I called them they were very helpful and said I could keep the wrongly delivered food, glad I did, probably the freshest, best cooked food I've had delivered, we've ordered from them about 5 times since and everytime the food's been fresh, perfectly cooked and exactly what I ordered, I'd definitely recommend giving them a try.

I'm partial to steak & kidney pudding so I was pleased to find it on the menu here. I'd have awarded 5 *****s, but I feel there could've been more veg (some cabbage, as well as the peas and baby carrots perhaps?). Good value, though, and tasty. Shame about Bristol Rovers' performance later against Southend Utd. (3-1 to The Shrimpers).

Excellent cafe with lots of tasty homemade stuff! Quality Breakfast with great bubble! Top notch burgers and beer!! Really enjoy my visits here and also good place to bring the kids.highly recommend. they also deliver a great breakfast as I experienced today, yum!
