Always missing something and never willing help out, it’s always 40mins or over for delivery, the food is good but it’s let down by poor customer service and timing

Fancied fish & chips when arrived staff was friendly got what we wanted got home and food was burnt and tasted burnt , fish was rubbery , felt like we was eating what was left over from lunch , batter on the fish had no taste and was also rubbery . Will not be going back such a shame.

So glad to be back in southend after all these years fair to say after all my travels this is the best fish and chip shop in the country 👌

Nope, never again. Bought two cod and chips, the fish was definitely not cod and it was definitely not fresh. The chips were old, chewy and full of black and green spots. The fish was obviously pollock or coley, disgusting

Have used this chippy for years. Always good quality, just wish the portion sizes would stay the same regardless of whose working. Highly recommended.

Very good fish and chips. Good size portion of chips.(large will do 2 people) Would recommend. Open Sunday which is why we went.

Had GF fish..best I've tasted for a long time. Decent thick bit of fish unlike most places who only ever give you the thin tail part.

This has been our regular fish and chips shop since we moved to Essex in 2017. We have tried many other shops nearby but consistently keep coming back here because this has by far been the tastiest.Their cod and chips are awesome and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are pleasant and polite.

'Pictures paints a thousands words'. Bearing in mind I opted for a LARGE portion.The worst Fish and Chip, and Restaurant in general I've had food from. The portion that is served is tiny in comparison to other Restaurants. The chips were undercooked and you specialise in chips, it's comical. The burger was just a patty in a bun, that was it. My 6 year old daughter can make a better burger than this. The Vegan 'Chicken Nuggets' were basically vegetables deep fat fried however the batter, if that's what it was, was also raw inside.You can have options on what you want served with your Chips, for example salt, which i opted in for. Guess what..... it didn't have salt on them. They charge Service depending on how much you order from them and then on top of that a delivery charge, which may I add is far, far more expensive than any others.I do not understand how a business that specialises in food has failed on everything that they offer, apart from the fact you get some sort of 'food' delivered to you.The only positive (You decide if it is) thing I can say is that it came pretty fast, but that's of no surprise considering most of my food was RAW. The delivery driver did a great job and was quick and efficient.I highly advise and recommend that anyone reading this to absolutely stay away from this abysmal restaurant.EDIT: I have just reviewed the RECEIPT and that burger you see in the picture cost me £5.30, the nuggets were £3.25, sausage was £2.40. Small chips ( In comparison to other Fish n Chips ) were £4.25. I'm guessing they're still in business solely because they rip off unaware customers such as myself. I'm hoping this gets to everyone before they even contemplate ordering from this shameful, embaressing restaurant.

A truly excellent selection of fish. Cod, haddock, rock, skate, plaice. Good chips. Great mushy peas. Cannot comment on the other menu items, but everything looked delicious. Prices are a bit high, but it's well worth spending a bit more for the great quality you get. Staff is freindly and the restaurant itself is nice and clean. Parking is a bit tough, but that is due to the convenient location. Two thumbs up!
