It's my local, so i popped in, intending to watch the football, despite having a giant screen, everyone was huddled around neck breaking screens in the corners. Asked if it was going to played on the big screen, was told "if it was going to be on the big screen, it would be on the big screen"Walked out.

Nice pub, good selection. You may need a hand getting in the back door, the front was not accessible as the England match was on. The manager was friendly and told me where to find the disabled toilet, it was spacious and easy to manoeuvre.

Held an event at The Old Garrison, Shoeburyness in their function room a few evenings ago. Landlord was welcoming and friendly. Very helpful in assisting with organising and setting up the event. The pub is lovely, clean, tidy, cosy and welcoming. The newly decorated function is a lovely space to host events and parties in with direct access out into a lovely large beer garden. Can not recommend this pub enough. A real hidden gem.

Ok nothing more. Great location the pub has huge potential. Sadly only good for a pint.they seem uninterested in the food side of things.if fact no food is on offer. Real shame.

·

Met a few friends here for drinks recently. What a great pub, with superb atmosphere and a huge beer garden. Plenty of seating inside and out. Some great drinks available on the pumps to. Been nicely refurbished since our last visit and the toilets were spotless. Cant fault it at all. even the staff were chatting and friendly and went that extra mile! Definaetely a great place to spend a quiet afternoon of fun evening with friends A+++

We visited just after emerging from lockdown (end of May 2021) and we sat out front on the picnic tables there. Really nice day so everything was great - the staff were in good humour too for the start of the Bank Holiday weekend.
