Friendly staff, and a good selection of real ale, right opposite Sainsburys, so makes the thirsty work of popping to the supermarket a pleasure. 😉👍

Great place to meet friends for a drink and a chat, the staff are friendly and always remember your name and your drink.Clare the owner and her husband are great hosts, it is always a pleasure to visit The Old Trout.Drinks selection is extensive and well priced unfortunately I have not eaten here as yet to rate the food but I am told by friends that the food is very good and reasonably priced.Look forward to my next visit.Keep up the good work Clare.

An old boozer with lots of charm. Welcomes away fans travelling to Roots Hall on a matchday as well.

Lovely, a bit quaint 'local'. The interior as eclectic as it can be - and an interesting take on rainbow trout throughout the place 😄

Friendly "local" ,with nice food. Bar staff really nice. A bit small and now they accept card payments can be busy at weekends.

Nice place but not enough choice of real ales on a thursday night, other than that all good.
