The young lady Jasmin was extremely helpful and friendly and had a nice positive way about her. Me and my mum loved the breakfast. Only one criticism was the eggs were little rubbery. The Carver Scott was also jolly and friendly.

Came for a lovely meal today with my wife and was greeted by Marie at the door who showed us to our table. Was served by Lynn and Jasmin. Food was delicious and the toilets were lovely and clean. Always very pleasant staff who always go that bit further to keep all their guests happy. Shall definitely be returning again and highly recommend.

Brilliant restaurant. Nice atmosphere and a very clean place. The staff were really nice and polite and helped us accommodate a large amount of people. The food was mouth-watering and the desserts were amazing. Everything is worth the price. Coming here again.

No stars, but I I couldn’t post without a star.To start with, the girl who greeted us from behind the bar didn’t look as if she wanted anyone there. The chef, if that’s what you call him was ill informed about any of the dietary restrictions I asked about. The food was hot, but dry and crispy. The cauliflower cheese had no cheese flavour at all. He tried palming me off with two very thin slices of pork, which to my knowledge wasn’t even 100g. When I challenged him about it, he got defensive and begrudgingly gave me another slice. The only good thing I have to say about this place was the waiter who brought me the bill. He was polite and friendly. If I hadn’t had a £10 off voucher, I would have been even more disappointed. This was supposed to be my birthday treat, but it certainly didn’t feel like a treat. I couldn’t wait to finish and get out of there. Unsurprisingly there were only two couples in the whole place. Obviously the locals don’t use the place because of the lack of atmosphere and service. The only way things can improve at this establishment is by a total replacement of the staff!

Everyone here is always so professional and polite. On this occasion I actually came to pick up the order to deliver however the Lady Manager was so polite and professional to me as well as all the walk in customers. Would definitely recommend this place due to top quality food and the service given by all the team who actually appreciate all the valuable customers.

As a first timer, not only to this store but to a Toby carvery in general I felt welcomed and at home. The wonderful woman who served me, Lynn, attended to my every need and explained how a Toby carvery works. The beef was dry and the pigs in blankets were not 5 star but the Yorkshire puds and stuffing made it up for it. Some of the serving handles were too hot to touch, there should be a warning. I was grateful that there were napkins to use. I loved the all you can eat and, of course, Lynn. Thanks and I'll be back.

£70+ for a roast dinner for 2 adults and 2 children (no alcohol). Wouldn’t have minded as much if the quality was there, unfortunately it wasn’t. It was the standard was of a school dinner at best. We won’t be returning. The waitress however was very polite and professional. I didn’t want to make a fuss so we paid and left.

I was waiting for a takeaway and had my daughter with me, she wanted a toy egg from the machine but I didn't have enough change and my daughter made a huge fuss about it. A member of staff, a tall young man about 18 or 19 (sorry I didn't get your name) came over and just gave my daughter a £1 coin. We were both very happy. My daughter is autistic and it can be hard for her to understand some things in life, so this kind act saved a huge meltdown. Thank you :)

Wanted to book a table for a large party for breakfast. They could do it any day of the week but a Sunday. So they will happily miss out on a lot of people coming and paying for breakfast. Makes no sense in the current times. Would have been happy to pay a deposit. But nope. The Thorpe Bay one decided suddenly they couldn't accommodate the amount we had booked and the Prince avenue one said not on a Sunday. Happy birthday me. Sit at home and be bored instead. Never spending my money here again
