Toro Sushi UK in Southend-on-Sea

They package the sushi beautifully. The shop is small but the sushi is made to order and it is FRESH. The cost is higher than a Itsu or a Wasabi but it tastes better. The maki is my absolute favourite. You can't eat in, take away only, which is fair. I'll definitely recommend and I'll definitely be back.

Really nice food, freshly prepared by hand. The bento box is delicious. The family who run it are lovely people Toro is a really asset to the Leigh Road.

Came out of yoga and just fancied sushi for lunch. 24 hours later we are still talking about it. The vegan gyoza were divine. Now I have fresh sushi on my doorstep, I will never buy a bento box lunch from a supermarket again. There is just no comparison.

Amazing gyoza, great sushi, super friendly staffs. The miso soup is lovely and the yakisoba is great :D Love this little place!

Sushi was made to order and very fresh. I didn’t have to wait for long at all and the food was amazing!! Such a good portion and the couple in the shop were so helpful and informed me on all the other vegan/vegetarian options. Would 100% recommended especially as a vegan!!

Lovely familly run sushi takeaway, with great fresh sushi, can't say I've tried any better. They are great at what they do and I love the fact that they also do noodles, chicken and rice and the best dumplings I've ever had. Can't get enough of this place and I highly recommend the Dragon roll too. I have had sushi a few times before but no way as good as this and I love the fact of going in and they do something different each time for me and it's always tasty.

I've just moved into the area and found Toro nearby. The staff are such friendly and lovely people :) thank you - I really enjoyed my sushi. I can't wait to visit you in your new shop soon!

These are the former owners of Fujiyama. We were literally just talking about how we missed that place when we walked by Toro. They opened last week but have 20 years of sushi experience. Delicious and super convenient to Waitrose. Will be back - a lot.
