Wings in Southend-on-Sea

I had the same order (via just eat) as previously when it was delicious. This time it had got cold on the way and so not as enjoyable. I really wish I had not got takeaway tonight!!

Extremely good food honey roast pork and roast duck although well overpriced and cash only which in this day and age is not acceptable.

We have used this chinese for many years and the food has Allways been excellent, we went there today, my Wife and me and ordered our usual dishes, and to be honest, even though we haven't been there since the pandemic, it was disappointing on several fronts, firstly, one of our main dishes didn't turn up untill the end of the meal, the service was sloppy and when I got the bill I was totally shocked, £70 for Char Sui Pork, Crispy belly pork, 1 boiled rice, salt and chilli ribs, and, water for it, £11 for a portion of stir fried Broccoli, Sorry Guys, But Never Again.

Excellent food and service the mixed roast meat and rice with chilli oil on the the side is a must have all the food here is so fresh and tasty Highly recommend

Absolutely the worst Chinese take away in Southend food was horrible the curry was disgusting chips was so thin when I received the food I could taste the cheep plastic tray on the food only thing that was nice was the can of coke ,I have to give at least one star to post this and I did not want 2 give any star staff was so rude when I returned with the food stay away people

Brought a takeaway today, came home open the box only to be very disappointed with the roast pork it was very salty and every piece of is full of fat. Had to bin all of it. I will never buy roast pork from there again.

We visit Southend often. The Wings was one of my favourite Chinese restaurants years ago. Now still they cook nice food but levels behind the previous owner. The duck was more fat and bones.

Not a typical British Chinese. The food is absolutely delicious, really recommend the duck. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating, would recommend.

Been going here ever since I can remember and they never disappoint!Went for lunch for my sister's birthday and it was delicious and piping hot as usual. Not to mention amazing value as we ordered from their lunch menu. Staff are always friendly and accommodating.10/10 would recommend 👌

What a nice little find, you know it's going to be good when the place has roasted duck, roasted pork & crispy pork hanging from the window (sorry vegetarians but that's the only way i can describe it). we didn't know what to eat and not familiar with southend restaurants, we could have easily gone to a kebab, fish and chip shop, or grabbed a burger from one of the stalls, but i jumped on google and this place popped up. didn't read the reviews just saw that someone posted photos and if there's food which looks proper then we will be there. was given the menu and looking through it was a nice surprise, they had dishes which you dont tend to see which is always nice, we ordered the braised beef with rice and won ton noodle soup and grilled dumplings, food arrived and was good, cant fault it as all, the owners were pleasant and the food came out quick. if you manage to come across this place, hopefully you enjoy it as much as we did. highly recommend if you fancy chinese in southend.
