"We are a established family run business of 15 years who are passionate about food. All food is cooked to order to ensure a grate taste. All of our meals have been through a rigorous taste test before we add them to our menu.( we eat and enjoy our food) so can you. We have recently undergone a rebuild and expansion with a new restaurant with plenty of inside dining all behind glass with wonderful views of the sea and pier. We are pleased to announce that our opening times are extended to every weekend of the year. Bookings are available please call or email to discuss your requirements"

Amazing seaside Cafe. Inside was very clean, tidy and had stunning views of the beach and sea. Staff were friendly and bubbly. They made me feel very welcome and were engaging thought my visit. I would definitely recommended a visit.

I was working in Southend thought I would pop in here for some dinner, ordered sausage and chips with an apple juice the lady charged me £10 I then looked at the menu after seeing that chips were £3.50 apple juice £2 (tiny glass) so that meant the sausage was £4.50, I then asked why was so expensive they said if you eat in this is what it cost if you takeaway it cost £5.50 🤦 so realistically it cost £4.50 to sit inside you might aswell pay takeaway and relax on the beach as it is right on beach front.

So nice to see a good old fashioned family run business. Great staff all very friendly. The place is spotless and the view is awesome being right on the beach. Food is tasty and great value, what I loved the most was the pick your own breakfast menu, great being able to have what you want on the plate rather than paying for food you won't eat.If you're coming to Southend I'd highly recommend a visit.

This was the cleanest place I have been on my 1 week visit in the UK. Super job !

When you walk into that restaurant, the first impression is cleanness. In this bright room due to large bay/windows, you won't find clutter and everything seems to be at the right place. The seashore is no further than 10 metres away from the bay windows. The menu is in fact a fish & chips/café selection that you can find in any similar place. Unfortunately, I haven't noticed wether alcool was served there or not but the food is fresh while the chips tasted as if they were home made. Finally, the young staff are really doing their best to be pleasant and helpful.I recommend the place with no hesitation for the reasons listed above.

A couple recommended this place to me as we travelled on the pier train together. I was happy that the staff provided me with a child-sized portion of cod and chips as I can't eat a huge portion. The food was fresh and good. That was ÂŁ5 and a cup of tea cost ÂŁ2. So with 2 slices of white bread I thought my bill would be around ÂŁ8. But no! It was ÂŁ10 and I was told that the 2 slices of bread was ÂŁ3 at ÂŁ1.50 per slice!! That left a sour taste and I was sad that I was ripped off like this. I won't go back there and I won't recommend it to anyone.

I’m so glad we found this fantastic cafe! We arrived in Southend for the weekend looking for somewhere to have a quick lunch while enjoying the sea view and this was just perfect. It was so good we came back on our last day before heading home!It seemed to be new or freshly decorated as the decor was nice and modern and everywhere was very clean. The menu includes all the usuals you’d expect from a beach cafe - fish’n’chips, sausage’n’chips, burger, sandwiches, jacket potato and all-day breakfast etc. Everything was cooked well, presented nicely and served quickly, and good size portions too!It was so nice to sit in the warmth of the cafe and look out at the sea and the pier.As an added bonus the staff were so friendly and helpful, it’s a lovely family-run place and if we’re back in Southend we’ll definitely head here again!

Brilliant place. Tasty food and great location but the standout for me was this place is incredibly well-run. It's clean as clean as clean can be. I saw a waitress cleaning every nook and cranny in a high chair, sweeping the floor and cleaning every surface. No sticky surfaces for once. Will definitely be returning and will tell everyone this is the place to go for scampi and chips in Southend-on-Sea.

This place is lovely nice decor, very clean, owners are friendly and the staff that served me and my mum. We had the Fish & Chips and it was lovely and fresh. Toilet facilities exceptionally clean. Overall whole place was lovely would definitely recommend this place. If I came again don’t think I’d eat anywhere but here.

The best chips I have had in donkey years... brown and crispy. Not soggy or undercooked chips that you normally get from such places. The fish was delicious. Well worth a visit from the other 11 fish and chip bars by the pier. They also do great ice-creams too!
