Balti Village in St Albans

Thank you for our Saturday delivery. The food was delicious. Compliments to the chef.

Used balti village for quite a few years. But over the last 3 months the food has no flavour or spice. ,meat isnt tender and is in massive chunks. Not sure if they've changed there chef but not happy considering 2 lamb dansaks, 1 portion of meat samosas and a starter cost over £29 .00 I can have a Chinese for that. and they've put here prices up as it never came to this cost for the same order 2 weeks before. Will go to cafe jeera instead. Better food for the same money

Excellent service. Food arrived piping hot , fresh , flavoursome , excellent value for money and superb quality , would defiantly recommend .

Have ordered food from here in the past which has normally been good and we consistently order lamb bhunas. However, the last two times we ordered a Lamb Bhuna we got beef instead of Lamb. First time around, I thought it was a mistake (as it can happen and it would have been fine if that was the case). The second time around, however, we called to say they'd sent us a beef Bhuna instead of lamb again, to which the reply was that it was Lamb indeed. The difference in taste between beef and lamb are miles apart. Everyone who eats both regularly know how different they taste. I suggest that they check this issue if not amongst themselves, amongst their supply chain.

Top quality Indian takeaway. Nice dishes, well cooked, free poppadums (and a random veg) mean I've tried several other takeaways but always come back to the Balti.

Has been my favourite Indian takeaway for many a year and the standard has never dropped. The owner really cares for his customers and it shows in his service delivery

Lovely food, but food was not ready on collection, however staff were very friendly and supplied nibbles until food was ready.

Wrong order sent and took ages to arrive. Brought young daughter to deliver the food. Feel sorry for the family that was expecting and a big meal and got a 2 person meal with 1 rice haha food wasn't great either shame as it was a top rated place.
