Beautiful place to dine with friends and family.Customer Service is impeccable, I cannot fault it.The Manager and staff always go the extra mile for customers.Food is served within minutes. For dessert I recommend the nutella and waffle stack, so filling, yum yum and value for money.

Too much noisy on top of sports tv. Thanks for making it cool 🤪. People r hanging around the counter in pub even they don’t care if someone need space to grab their drink. Btw big space. Lovely beer garden, cool staff but beer variety is bit poor. 😝

Side Pocket and Doombar, banging tunes - good company - A great night out.

The food is always great. The staff very friendly. I love the way the garden is set out, especially the beach houses. I can pretend I'm on holiday.

First time here and it is a little gem. Warming, cosy atmosphere inside much like the staff. A decent selection of beer and the coveted Aspall cider as well as a large selection of gins. Decided to pop outside and try the beer garden which was quite a find. As well as some well spaced and maintained tables and benches there are some beach-style huts to take that edge away on a cooler evening. Good large screen TV for sports and a timetable of music evenings. Will definitely be back for more.

We were there during our first visit to St Albans, and enjoyed a good pint in a sunny backyard. They have some huts (painted like those by the beach) for visitors not so lucky with the weather. We tried to go again twice when they started to loosen the lock down, but no way without a booking (safety first). I will try again as you never go to St Albans too often.

Me and a group of friends came for the bottomless brunch one Sunday. It is a very small menu for this brunch with only four standard meal options. You can upgrade for a bit more money however.Right from the very start, the service was absolutely outstanding. Our waitress, Lucy, made sure our glasses were never empty and what's more, she did it with a smile and ease. I can only imagine how intimidating a big group of people can be when it's bottomless but she never faltered and was an absolute marvel. She informed us right at the beginning what was and wasn't available that day so that we could adjust our expectations accordingly. The food too was surprisingly good. It looked marvellous on the plate and there was a lot of food envy going on at our table. The pub seemed very busy this Sunday and a popular choice with a youngish crowd. I can totally see why, I'd like to come back too.

Lovely little pub, garden space is brilliant. Staff are very friendly. Traveling on a day out to see family so it's a good location not far from the train station to travel back home. Look forward to coming back as they have live music coming up, which I've heard is a brilliant night out.
