Cafe Jeera has significantly blown me away tonight! Service and food is top quality. We have noticed the management has changed and I can say the two brothers Nibras & Naz are wonderful young business men with nothing but respect and joy. Food was beautiful and was also amazed with the design on the plate when the dishes came out. Also met the celebrity Chef Shahnoor! Great bunch of lads! Definitely recommend this restaraunt and cannot wait for the refurbishment of this place! Best Indian Cusine in Harpenden hands down!

Ordered from these guys for delivery and I’ve eaten in too, lovely food, lovely customer service and deliveries are always quick and food is still hot! Highly recommend

Busy local Indian restaurant with tasty specialities and a reliable take away delivery service

Normally my absolute fav takeout, but tonights just tasted like something from a tescos microwave pack. Maybe it's a new chef, rushed for time or new recipe, but tonights just dissapointed, especially when I know how great it should be.

Delicious meal as always tonight. Such friendly and attentive staff!!! Great to be back.

The waiters were friendly and helpful. They cleared my spilled wine with no fuss, and kept refilling our drinks for free. But, this restaurant has a hygiene rating of three. And it shows. The plates had remnants of food on them, and my chicken jalfrezi was undercooked. The food was expensive for the relatively low quality, I would eat there if I had to. There are much better Indian restaurants, even on the same road.

Just had a take away delivered. It was “ok” but had much better from here before. The food was warm (not hot) and although I ordered a Madras, was a bit tasteless! Will think twice before ordering from here again. 4/10 for me.

We’ve been going to cafe Jeera for 20 years. Our meal on New Years Eve was very poor by their standards. Salmon teeka and Dal were good, but remaining dishes were poor and the the bisi takari most unpleasant. Also noticed the receptionist using their hands to scoop up the uneaten sweets on the tray of sweets they provide at the end of the meal, and putting then back into the storage jar - good marks for recycling, but poor hygiene.

I've been to cafe jeera from time to time over the last 7 years, and it has been a reliable source of good food and service. Sadly, I feel quality of the service and food has recently declined somewhat. Also - if you turn up close to closing time, every waiter and waitress that visits your table will tell you to hurry up, even if the restaurant is half full. What a shame :(

Been twice, first time food was good but on Sunday this week two of the three currys were terrible. The younger waiter was rude in my opinion ignored me twice. I won't be going back due to the unfriendly attitude.
