Very nice cafe rouge, great building with full glass ceiling. We had afternoon tea with prosecco which was good value. Some confusion by staff over their own promotions, so check details and keep your whits about you!

Lovely staff, our waiter Mario was attentive and couldn't do enough, a rare person in todays climate. Food fresh, beautiful cooked. I have nut allergies; this was the first thing they checked as we were seated... I highly recommend this restaurant with its beautiful setting , will be returning 👍👍

Ordered Two’s a company meal deal. Only one burger got delivered. We have tried calling, 9 calls now and no one is answering. £33 with 20% discount for 1 burger, 2 stone cold portion of fries and two cans of coke. Mistakes happen, no problem but at least have a point of contact for these situations to be dealt with. Saturday night and one burger to be shared. Thank you.

What a lovely building great staff went for afternoon tea sadly not as good as it could have been, very lacking in the savoury on the menu was French onion sausage roll seemed shop brought? Very heavy on the sweet side! Not sure this was value for money

Good overall dining experience. Had to send food back as it wasn't hot, but the staff were excellent. Because of the way it was handled I would give them another chance

The food is nice, although not a huge choice for a light lunch option. And I was surprised and shocked that for just one main meal, two people we sat in there for 2 hours! Not wholly out of choice but after we ate we waited a considerable time for a) our plates to be taken and b) to be offered a dessert menu. In the end as we had run out of time on the parking meter we asked for the bill and left without any dessert. We weren't asked at all how our meal was, although if they had asked I would have said fine. A croque madame can't go wrong can it? Also a bit peeved that my friend was told she must be hungry to order half a chicken (Don't sell it if you think it's too big a portion, or at least offer an alternative!) And we weren't offered any condiments. I hadn't been here for years and fancied giving it a go. It'll be another few years until I go back.

Food was mostly good, loved the art deco style, camembert cheese and baguette were excellent. The burger’s taste was okay though a bit plain. But it was good overall

The place looks very beautiful, appealing, romantic, spacious and colorful. Unfortunately the first thing that hits you there, is the cold and dead atmosphere. But you decide to go in anyway because you love the stained glass windows. The next disappointment is rude, judgemental staff. You're already at your table so you decide to order something anyway. After a while you are getting very average, fridge stinking and very expensive food that doesn't make you feel any better. Eventually you just want to quickly pay and escape from the beautiful greenhouse cage. That's it, thank you for reading.

Such a lovely afternoon tea from beginning to end really helpful member of staff when I called to book really accommodating when I called to re schedule for a bit later in the day staff so friendly and welcoming the afternoon tea was superb just the right amount of food and good mix of sweet and savoury I think an afternoon tea can be so nice when done right and cafe rouge definitely delivered well worth a visit
