We had the set menu for four , there was plenty.Great food and attentive service. What more could you want!

Really good food and service although somewhat on the pricey side. £137 for four people, two courses and only Jasmine tea and tap water to drink.Given the amount of staff members, I'm not surprised at the cost.

Absolute amazing meal great service food outstanding definitely our local new Chinese Rachel is a great owner manager the customer service is amazing lee and I loved it xx

Fantastic service, super friendly staff who could not be more attentive. Very flexible about dietary needs when picking a set menu. A bit pricier than average perhaps but worth it for the freshly prepared food and the service. My friend and I were even given a rose as we left as it was almost Valentine's Day, very thoughtful touch.

Good service, interesting menu. Not quite the best Chinese food I’ve ever had but easily in the top quarter and comparing it against a Michelin rated restaurant that closed years ago is perhaps a bit harsh. Fairly expensive but given the challenges of the pandemic I’m very happy to support this kind of establishment who are doing good work. Some options like whole duck or lobster require 24 hours notice.

5pm Saturday. Totally empty restaurant and family of 4 asking for some food. Bit of a debate but ok, they'll accommodate. I remember going here back in 96 so assumed they were still going strong because they were good. They're still going strong because they're charging crazy prices and apparently that also allows for meh customer service. Food WAS nice, fresh and fast but I'd expect that at £12 for a chicken satay starter, £8 for seaweed, £10 for a veg side dish and £12 for a quarter duck (4 pancakes!). £100+ spent with no alcohol, no starters just a couple of sides. Would have cost us less at Giggling Squid down the road!

Had a truly fabulous family meal to celebrate our daughters 11th birthday. Food was delicious we had had one of the set menus, loved the duck, starters and king prawns. service fantastic and was given a birthday treat from the restaurant. It was our first visit but will return. Thanks for a lovely family meal

Fantastic meal at Chef Peking last night. Food cooked to perfection, not rushed, very good service. Party of five celebrating daughter going to university today. We had a great time and Rachel runs a brilliant restaurant and has a very good friendly attitude to customers unlike some restaurants. Her staff were very polite and helpful. The best Chinese restaurant I know in the area.
