Waited 12 minutes in line for a sandwich and didn't even make it to the counter so put it back and left.Staff spent 5+ minutes on trying to sell a Costa membership card to the person at the counter and the queue was coming out the door.

A quaint little branch in St Alban's with friendly staff and plenty of space to sit. What more is there to say? No problem with the food or coffee and just pleasant to sit down for my break.

Could do with staff being a bit quicker clearing tables, crockery was piling up on tables so no one could use them. Other than that it wasn't bad!

No complain as always nice coffee n cool staff. Love the outdoor hut for enjoying coffee but shame I couldn’t get space there so sit inside but hope next time

Was terrible... pre ordered drinks went in 10 mins later no one knew what was going on... then someone found the order and told the person making coffee what it was and where it was... 15 mins later no drinks but other people getting theirs... had to show the person where the order was and finally got it after about 25 30 mins in total... absolute shambles! Only ordered two coffees...

Standard branch of Costa, sited within The Maltings. Counter service of decent coffee, along with a fairly limited selection of pastries, sandwiches and snacks. There is some seating downstairs if the Ground Floor is busy. If you're lucky, you might find a vacant seat or two outside on a warm day. There are five or so small tables outside, including a couple under cover (often advisable in the UK!) Not an inspiring setting, but they have made an effort with pretty hanging baskets and shrubs.

Quite spacious and nice, coffee is okay but do yourself a favor and don’t get cold brew here. It’s sour and watered down there is nothing you can do to fix that questionable beverage as sugar will not dissolve in cold drink. Staff seems to be happy to work here so I guess that makes visit a bit better.
