Great pub, great landlord, great beer what more can I say. There is a classic car show every Tuesday evening, weather permitting.

We attended one of the classic car evening events on 27th July. It was a great family evening out with food and music available in the beer garden. We would visit regularly if we lived locally.

Service was fantastic, they couldn't do enough to make us comfortable, the steak pie was delicious and the prices were great! This will most definitely be a regular from now on.Highly recomend!

Flat lemonade out of a bottle. Replaced without fuss but it shouldn't have been served.No table service even in covid times perhaps this is a staffing issue but it seemed unusual to have to order at the bar and then collect your own food.Food was just ok not massively cheap for a pub of that type.No first aid kit available.Setting was pleasant. Big car park. Lots of tables with parasols.

Had a great Sunday roast here. Staff were great, food was really nice and the price was pretty reasonable.Liked that the veg was served in a separate dish to the meat, roast potatoes and Yorkshire. Also pleased with the massive pot of tea we were served.Would definitely recommend this place 😁👍

Really beautiful old school pub!! Great beer and cheaper than many places. Massive garden with kids adventure play area. Loads of seating. Dogs welcome too. Very friendly atmosphere. Great looking menu..... And proper log fire! Lovely :-)

Superb beer and great food. I love this place.You should note that it is small village pub and so eating times are limited and often popular (because of the good home-cooked food). You should ring and check if there is a need to reserve some space to sit and eat so as to avoid disappointment.Staff are always happy and helpful.
