Lovely chilled vibe coffee hang out, nice music - staff are lovely & helpful.They don't mind you working there - food looks great too ( about to try some vegan cake)

Found this cafe via Google Maps after taking dog for a walk at Heartwood Forest. What a lovely place! Feels spacious yet welcoming. Decaf coffee was one of the best I have had in a long time and the cherry danish was very tasty. My dog was welcomed and even given some treats! Served by a lovely lady who also chatted to me and the dog while it wasn't busy. I will definitely visit next time I'm in the area and may even try some of the menu next time 😊

For me, this is what a local coffee shop should be. Amazing coffee in a pleasantly decorated interior. Turns I to a bar at night been only been there for the coffee.

Busy and lively. From that point of view having coffee and a chat there was a real throw-back to the pre-Covid world. So, if you're planning to meet anyone at Fade to Black - make sure you arrive early to grab a table (or, better still, the comfy sofa) and be prepared to defend your choice firmly but fairly.

Late night opening on Fridays and Saturdays for cocktails using locally sourced ingredients with cheese and meat boards from a local deli make this place a real treasure. Quiet enough for easy talking with a relaxed atmosphere and comfy couches, and it is dog-friendly 😊

Really enjoyed the coffee and pastries here. Friendly staff and still open for takeaway! Will be back :)

The coffee here is really, really good. It's definitely worth the trip, or a stop if you're passing. Top quality espresso.Really nice inside too, so look forward to sitting in with my dog when the lockdown is over

Nice little café. Perfect to drop in to have a hot drink. Coffee had always tasted nice here. There is also always a tasty looking selection of sweet treats, like cakes, flapjacks etc on offer.
