It’s NYE and I get it’s busy but telling someone to arrive 25 mins before it’s ready (after a 1.5 wait) really sucked. Not even a free bag of crackers to make up for it (tight owners). We will be using Sam’s in London Colney from now on

Stopped off at Flame Light after an exhausting day at work and can honestly say the welcome was very friendly and we weren’t rushed to order our food. We ordered Kung po prawns, egg fried rice, plain fried noodles, salt and pepper mushrooms. We ate the prawn crackers in the car on the way home! Enjoyed the food so very much that we stopped off the next Friday evening too. Delicious food and definitely would recommend to anyone. Parking is a doddle which is always a bonus.

First thing is first. This chinase is EXPENSIVE. Like proper EXPENSIVE. Wouldn't mind if the food was of high quality to justify the price. But it ain't. The noodles were not mixed properly, and were dry and bland. The garlic spicy chicken???? No garlic, no spice just mostly chunks of microwaved chicken. Duck was ok but overcooked. The soup was the best bit of the order, and that says something.Inside the store was like a freezer and staff seemed to speak only one syllable.If this is the best chinase is St Alban's, god help us all. AVOID.

Update::Still outstanding food and by far the best Chinese in the area by far and beyond. STILL let down by hugely inaccurate lead times for ready food.5 stars if they can sort that, food definitely deserves itExcellent food. Let down by having to wait an unacceptable time for it to be prepared. Repeatedly told 25 mins and always over 45 minutes

Excellent vibes and very personal service. The food was crisp and delightful. Will absolutely recommend this place to friends and family. Fair rates and generous meals. Good job.

Was very disappointed with food, ended up throwing it away very greasy and fatty, ribs were just the end cuts almost no meat on them at all. Paying high price for poor quality food Will not be returning to this take away.

Food was good until my brother started throwing up from food poisoning about 3 hours later. We got the same dishes apart from our rice (his had chicken in it). The only thing we can put it down to is the chicken not being thoroughly cooked in the rice.
