Hideout Kafe in St Albans

Amazing place to go if you like exotic Cuisine with a touch of homemade and coziness everywhere.The owners are amazing, always with a smile and making great recommendations!I definitely suggest it without any hesitation. In my opinion it’s a hidden gem of St Albans and I reluctantly share it as I like it for being very quiet especially in the mornings but the Owners deserve the positive feedback.

I visited Cha & Nasta, St. Alban's for the first time. This is halaal restaurant. It was an amazing experience having lunch here. This is run by family business and most of the staff is female. Food was homely and delicious as well. They have Indian/bangladeshi snacks, curries and main course. Rates of the items are cheap. They have dine-in and take away as well.We ordered Sev Puri, Papdi chat, Murugh Masala, Murugh kati roll and Pink tea. All the items were good.Tip 1 : While ordering, please do mention level of spiciness you need.Tip 2 : This restaurant is closed on Sundays.

I'm not sure if this is a hidden gem in plain sight or a local legend, either way the food is beyond fantastic and only rivalled by the hospitality and service. This is home cooked food by people that care, can't recommend it highly enough!

Delicious food, friendly service and cosy ambience. Recommend! Prices are very reasonable, and everything tastes of quality.

A fantastic little cafe serving Bangladeshi food perfect for lunch. I also had a deshi cha which lovely and they have a great place to sit and enjoy the food out the back. I love that they serve a number of small dishes so you can pick a number if you are hungry.

Had a great first visit to Cha & Nasta on a day trip to St. Albans from London. The restaurant is very quaint with a nice indoor and outdoor seating area in the back. The service was excellent and the owner was very kind and provided us with some suggestions and background into their family recipes. The food was delicious having tried the Masala Chips, a few of the kathi rolls and a curry. Also the Cha and Mango lassi were a really nice treat. Will visit again!

So friendly and delicious, freshly made food. We loved trying different snacks and will definitely be back to try the rest! The highlight was the delicious homemade tea - I had a cardamom one which is now my favourite hot drink ever, can't wait to try the rest.

No need to go to Bangladesh when you can taste the authentic bengali home foods here at this little cafe with an amazing back garden seating area. Foods are definitely home made by the true chefs, ladies! and when family members are servicing you, it feels as though you are invited guest at their own home. Absolutely geniune and authentic environment.

Amazing little cafe, dishing out traditional Bangladeshi snacks and food and AMAZING TEA. Everything is freshly cooked and tastes very homely. From the shop front it only looks like they have two seats although they have an indoor seating area at the back. They also have a mums club on Wednesday lunchtimes. Their Pink Tea is amazing. Highly recommend if your in the area and looking for a light snack. I know I'll be coming back again soon.

This is a lovely little place tucked away off the main road.They have a selection of excellent teas and coffees... Something for everyone!Great classical Indian dishes...Great service, great food and lovely atmosphere.Keep up the good work guys!
