The environment and service was good. Some of those in our group were very happy with their food food (such as those with livers and the steak) and others felt their meal was average and could be made better at home (including a vegan dish which was far too spicy). A bit of a mixed bag. However, no other complaints. Cocktails were great.

So sad… been here a few times before and so disappointed with my most recent visit. Food used to be exceptional now prepared mediocre, cocktails limited and not nice. Atmosphere; empty and dull. Gutted as I brought the girls to try for the first time and we were really let down.

I really want to support this industry right now but cannot justify anything other than 1 star. I haven't had a meal as bad as this for a very long time, nor have the friends I was with. Even at a much lower price point it would've been very poor. Quite frankly inedible food, laced with a ridiculous amount of salt. Olives you find in a jar for 30p. Just so sad we didn't choose somewhere else to spend our evening. Won't be back. Seriously shocking. What a shame.

Visited Loft with my wife yesterday evening and will definitely return. The food was excellent and the staff were very courteous and attentive. We had a complimentary glass of Champagne for our wedding anniversary which was a complete surprise and added that personal touch.

My brother and sister in law had their reception here and it was beautiful. It was a smaller get together than most but they managed to fit in 20 something for dinner and then many more for the evening part.It was a beautiful night and the staff were very helpful, food was amazing!

We went for lunch and had some excellent food in a cosy atmosphere.Everything we ordered was prepared well. The staff were lovely, but unfortunately service was slow and we skipped dessert in the end after waiting 20 minutes. We would return next time we're in the area.

First time going to the loft and what a little gem off a place it was! The service was friendly, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was relaxing. Would recommend a visit! Prices are slightly high which may put some people off but the food was well executed and tasted delicious.

Beautiful oak-beamed, single room loft space at the back of a short alley off George Street, so a little tucked away. Went for Sunday lunch on the late May Bank Holiday and had a lovely meal. I had the burrata followed by roast beef; both generous portion sizes, quality ingredients and beautifully cooked. The other three members of our group were equally satisfied with their choices.Service was friendly and efficient whereas other reviewers have found it a little slow. The restaurant wasn’t full at the time of our visit, maybe as it was a lovely sunny day and others preferred to eat outside. Personally we preferred this cooler, bright & airy indoor space.
