Food took 45 minutes to come and and tasted absolutely disgusting. Definitely not worth the wait and money. I’m very disappointed and left most of it.

I went here today with my wife looking for a jacket for myself and a friend. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to find what we were looking for. I can recommend shopping here. The assistants name that helped us was Rosemarie. What a lovely person.

Just got back from the café, waited ages to get served, the lady in front of us said it's always like this. Customers waiting for ages to get served and another couple came and stood behind us. The man could see that there were 4 people behind the till and another 2 chatting to each other by the sandwich refrigerator. He said to someone behind the tills that since they have 2 tills and all these customers waiting, couldn't they open the second one which was not in use at that moment. the girl at the (open), till called to the 2 who were talking and asked them to open the other one. She then looked at us and said "some people are so rude"! They begrudgingly opened the second till. My wife had baked potato and cheese and I ordered southern fried chicken in a ciabatta. We both also had coffees, when they made the drinks they left the cups on the machine and the girl said "that's done", passing the cups to the customer or even just placing them where we could reach them clearly wasn't in her job description! When my wife's potato arrived it was black, she could tell where the cheese was because of the colour certainly not the taste because there wasn't any. When my lunch arrived, the ciabatta had morphed in to a bread roll. Biting into the chicken was very difficult because as I bit, the chicken squashed under my teeth, it was the texture of rubber. The colour of the coating was good but again there was no flavour. If anyone fancies a job opportunity why don't you open a café on that trading estate - you'd make a fortune if you offered a half-way decent service, just don't employ anyone who currently works in M & S.

Worst customer service… the kids they have employed do not understand the value of customer care and are clueless… i will not return to this store

The shop is lovely. No problems at all. The cafe was another story. Insufficient staff, overworked and too stretched. We waited ages to be served by a woman struggling to make hot drinks and man the till on her own. And then there’s the menu! Seriously! Mac and cheese sandwiches! I don’t eat turkey and most things I asked about were out of stock. Or only served downstairs. An absolute shambles. But I’m not sure I can ever get over the idea of Mac and cheese sandwiches. Seriously, some one needs to consider healthy options. You can do better!

Visited this afternoon, massive store, disabled parking spaces by the side entrance to m+s into mens wear (rested on the seats in the shoe department) took the lift up to the toilet and upstairs café as sign posted only to find the café closed... shame there wasn't a notice by the lift. The afternoon was saved when we found another m+s café on the ground floor (where I stayed !)Confusion with some customers with salted caramel frappe - yes there's no coffee in this !I on the other hand had an expresso with it and sausages in a roll. Staff were amazing and brought my order of food and drink to the table (must have seen my shaky tremors)

The store itself is large, well stocked and easy to get around. The cafe however is awful! The service is the slowest I’ve EVER experienced You really do lose the will to live standing in the queue listening to staff moaning about their day and getting orders wrong. I don’t believe they have ever got my order right. Today was their last chance Avoid. I will be.

M&S share the building with Sainsbury's and across the large car park are other stores. Sainsbury's petrol station is at the beginning of the access road, so a very good location for shopping.M&S have a cafe and toilets on the first floor near the entrance, the lift is also near the entrance. Plenty of stock in store, but disappointed that mens clothing has no stock above waist size 44 (Very limited) and nothing above xl. I was told it's all available on line in sizes upto 50 and xxxl which is totally useless to me as unable to see and try (This is common to most chains unfortunately!), it also forces you to pay in advance, be available for delivery, returns can be a problem and of course the wait for the refund! Nothing purchased but did get an idea of colours and styles. The ladies were also disappointed with what was on offer, particularly Per Una once they had located in a small section near the rear of the store. They commented that it appears the chains buyers have lost touch again!

Lovely place for shopping and very spacious car park. M&S is really big and you can get any sort of stuff. Saturday is the busiest day for shopping so try to avoid if you could .

There is two cafe at this m&s, one upstairs and one downstairs. There's also a restaurant. Access via store. Clean, friendly staff. Toilets available.
