Incredibly greasy, soggy fish and chips. The oil consumes all the batter and the chips are wet and tasteless. A very dissatisfied customer.

Love this place. Have been a customer for about ten years now. Can not rate them enough. Family run, Excellent food, excellent staff, excellent service, extremely fair prices! Best barbecue sauce around!! Chips are perfect and they do scraps which so many other chip shops no longer seem to do. The Chinese food is amazing as well as the fish and chip side. Saved us on so many occasions. Thank you!!

Simply love fish and chips and especially Chinese from this place. Been eating from here, often on a Friday, for over 20years. Always generous portions. Regularly changed oil for frying and for me, fresh and delicious every time!

Extremely good quality both the fish and the chips. They also have a small range of Chinese dishes should you prefer that but don't miss out on the great fish and chips

I ordered chicken, chips and a spring roll this evening. I had to wait 25 mins for my take away! When I got home I discovered they hadn't even put the spring roll in my order. The chicken was so over cooked I could barely consume it. Very disappointed. I have noticed the service has been getting worse and worse recently and I would definitely not recommend.

Great traditionally made chip shop Chinese food, proper chips and Pearl is so happy it's a pleasure going there. I'm moving soon and will miss my local chippy but will make a special trip! The best for miles, thanks pearl xx

Best fish and chips in Hertfordshire been coming here all my life and couldn’t ever dare to go somewhere else! Always polite and welcoming never had a problem or issue with the service or food highly recommend them!!

Trust me when I tell you this, I have travelled far and wide and no where comes close to the genuinely great fish and chips taste you will savour. Absolutely delicious and worth every penny.
