Notcutts Restaurant in St Albans

Always excellent service here from such friendly, helpful staff, you really can't fault them. Also a good range of plants, garden sundries, present ideas and an excellent pet range, including for wild animals too. I always enjoy shopping here, it's a real pleasure.

Can i say my latest visit to St Albans Notcutts has been disappointing.., The attitude of The member of staff on the tills was very unpleasant and unhelpful…, Normally it is a pleasure…! The time of the visit was 14.38 4/7/22…!

I love the cafe at this place. They do the best scones and serve nice coffee. Staff are always friendly, especially the young lady who works as a cashier in the garden centre section. Also a good selection of plants and gardening items for sale.

A rare opportunity to heap praise on a retail outlet. On a first visit last week couldn’t believe the help and kindness of staff. Also impeccably clean toilets.This was on top of beautifully arranged displays. We’ll done Norcutts, above and beyond usual garden centre standards.

Lovely garden centre with really nice, helpful staff. Had a lunch in the restaurant and it was delicious. I can definitely recommend this place.

A great garden centre that have everything you need for your garden. They have a great range of sheds and summer houses as well, a good display of BBQ's.

I've been to Notcutts a few times just recently because I was so impressed with it. Something has changed there or maybe its since the lockdown when we couldn't visit as much, that they limited the choice but, it is the best garden centre around in my opinion! The displays are full of healthy, strong looking plants with so much choice. It is set out beautifully. There is a huge choice of outside pots as well as ornaments. Inside feels that someone has taken time over the displays and again, there is something everywhere you look. The icing on the cake was the staff, they were so helpful but quite obviously, enjoying their job and taking a pride in it. I was served by Emma on a couple of occasions at the checkouts and what a lovely, cheerful person she is. We all need an Emma in our lives! I don't normally write reviews but had such a lovely time that felt compelled to do so.

The store is lovely with a good variety of plants, pet products, tools and gifts. We'll set out. Nice coffee shop but queues can be long at times. Friendly staff

Another great Garden Centre which is worth a visit if your in the market for some outdoor or indoor plants. Apart for a much larger variety of plants there is also a good number of pots, some nice space which house decorations - and a comprehensive gift shop which retails chocolates, cookies and shortbreads - and there is also a cafe which serves some nice meals. Good place for a weekend visit if your interested. Would recommend.

Nice garden centre and gift shop with a wide and varied selection. Seemed to be on the pricey side to me though but spent a good hour having a look round.
