Pizza Express in St Albans

Popped in for a quick meal on Saturday. Food was quick, despite being very busy and Amy our waitress was brilliant!

Good experience tbh. Very noisy restaurant. Very popular with family's. Food was okay.

Even though I booked a table, when I turned up there was no table booked! Please write things down!!Luckily there was 1 table left. However, the lighting was so bad I had to shine my phone torch to see what to order & what I was eating!!But, food & service were great.

Food was hot and tasty a little bit more attention to detail would up the review to five star but overall a very pleasant evening was had thanks

Great food but bits of the service weren't well thought through for young families. Eg all the adult food for starters and mains coming long before the kids food did.

Delicious food and friendly service! The prices are fair which is a big thumbs up for me, just wishing there were a couple more pizza options like Hawaiian!

Last Friday evening around 8.30ish me & a friend went to this pizza express, we were the last ones of the evening guessing from the staffs absolute rude / can't be arsed attitude. Our order was taken our food came out, still our drinks weren't there then when we did get them it was wrong. We also ordered a pizza to take away to a freinds that should have been prepared same time but it wasn't we had to ask twice. We spent 75 quid or so but felt awkward the whole time there was so much tension and awkwardness we came out hugely dissapointed I love pizza express and felt so annoyed, we would have had a better time at home sharing a pizza for £20.... Really really dissapointed.

My experience was truly phenomenal. I booked pizza making with a glass of Proseco for my best friends hen do and it far exceeded all my expectations, the staff where super helpful and made the day so much fun for everyone. We really enjoyed the pizza making process as it was informative and we had access to so many yummy toppings! Would definitely recommend this!

There's a plethora of pizza joints in St. Albans, but Pizza Express is probably the most consistent. Their thin crusts are, and their salad niçoise is. My favourite salad in town, by the way. Good for kids too.
