Update: eat in for two blokes at 40 quid is outstanding.2x naan, 2x dishes, 2x large beers and rice. All very tasty,

I arranged a party for my business and they provided excellent service and was really helpful in recommending dishes. Everyone loved the food and I will most definitely order here again!

Terrible food!I’m not one for leaving reviews but this was soo bad feel I have no choice but to warn others.Firstly…the Spicy noodles were nothing else then super noodles.Secondly…the food was really bad.I’m use to Indian food that is packed full of flavour, however this was shockingly bad and tasteless.The food ruined my Saturday night takeaway and ended up in the bin!I cannot see how anyone can give this restaurant more then 1 star based on the dishes we ate today.

Went early October on a Tuesday, not been before. It was very quiet, no doubt because of the pandemic, but the food was superb, really reasonably priced if you go for the 4 dishes for £14 option and service really good and friendly. Lots of variety makes it a nice change from a standard curry. Definitely would go again.

Sunday delivery-prompt and great foodWe ordered at lunchtime for an early evening delivery, not realising they didnt open until 5. We rang left a message and got a call back almmost immediately. We normally eat at Spice Rack with friends or work colleagues, but the take away was every bit as good as the meals served to table. Fresh, hot (not chilli hot) and great value as the portions are not small... We will be doing this again, not just to support a local business, but because they cook good food!. Recommend the Masala Chops (probably the only thing we hadnt had before) they are fantastic and the onion bhaji are large and a real treat...Great job guys, we will be back for moreNever fails to impress - great choice, nice sized portions and really helpful and cheerful staff

Good clean modern Indian Tapas type place with traditinal dishes available too. It gets quiet from about 9.30 (like most of Harpenden) and you may feel a little pressured to finish up. However the dishes were tasty and well spiced and it is very centrally located.

Have eaten here many times. Probably the best Indian restaurant around this region. Great staff, good food and the owner takes an interest in his customers. The menu is varied to include tapas as well as the traditional dishes. Recommended. Jason.
