Starbucks in St Albans

it's a nice place but sometimes very dirty. i cleaned up the last time i was there as the worker wasn't interested in doing it. sometimes they have extremely sweet baristas.. and they make the coffees beautifully. sometimes they are rude and just can't be bothered

Polite & friendly staff always. Usually it’s quite busy in here with alot of school children doing their work. It’s difficult to find a seat and they just sit there for hours sometimes. Fair enough but there needs to a dedicated section where they can come in and do their work in a corner so regular customers can seat too.

Good place to stop on a414 west to east road. Coffee reasonably priced and tables cleared quickly. They even came round and asked if you wanted to re order

Despite enjoying the iced blond latt I thought I could share the experience, the place looked well organised from afar and when you get inside , full of students studying. The place is dirty and needs properly managed it seems . Attached the photos for everyone to see . Not impressed at all times

Very busy with the after school crowd. Guy serving was polite , friendly and had a personality which was great. Drinks didnt take ages either. The 2 cookies were crisp fresh and tasty. The hot chocolate was hot and rich. The flat white wasn't the best slightly sour and bitter rather than silky and smooth which given this is a coffee stop kinda let the whole thing down.

Met a friend for a coffee. The staff were friendly. Coffee was good. It did resemble a Uni, filled with students and laptops, very few seats for other customers. Looking around the cleaning standards are lacking.

Given up thinking of going for a relaxing coffee. Can't move or get a table due to school / college kids taking over the whole place. It's more like a student common room rather than a coffee shop!

Oh wow, basically the both coffee machines broke down and where getting fix at the time...The way the staff where dealing with the customers was 10 out if 10 absolutely amazing with great alternative suggestions,.I must say Starbucks has the most amazing employees in any business the deals with customers face to face in the UK in my experienced opinion. Lovely venue amazing staff....

Went there at about 11pm and got myself a hot chocolate and a five cheese toastie. Hot chocolate with whipped cream was perfectly sweet and would definitely recommend. The five cheese toastie was grilled and was perfectly toasted and was cooked evenly from both sides. The melted cheese within the two crispy slices of bread was simply sublime and had an amazing stretch to it. Staff service was also great and I would definitely recommend this Starbucks to my friends.
