Subway in St Albans

A quarter of a sub considered a kids meal. RIP-OFF.

Dont order from subway using just eat. I have used this restaurant many times through just eat and have never had a problem until today. I asked for 9 inch Italian bread with chicken Tom and cucumber. I got 9 inch multi seed breed with mixed salad and a mixed filling. I also ordered 3 rainbow candy cookies and got 3 chocolate cookies. I also ordered 2 Pepsi max 500ml and I got Pepsi and tango 375 ml. The following has had 2 go in the bin as I cant eat multi seed rolls. When I rang the restaurant they dont have a phone so I rang just eat customer services and fair enough they said they would give me a full refund but when I asked them why they couldn't just re deliver me what I actually ordered they couldn't tell me why they couldn't re deliver. I just got told that it is the policy. Joke. Oh and they said that I could leave a review through just eat but when I did it was a survey for just eat not subway. If I could have left 0 stars then I would have

Pretty standard subway. It's a little bigger than the other subway in town, and is usually a little less busy. The sandwiches are as disgusting as in a usual subway, and overpriced. Its good for a quick bite, and is open quite late, so I guess I'll recommend it if you don't care about price or taste.

Nice staff. But management have no concern of there staff. It’s the busiest day of the year with the Christmas lights being turned on and there’s only one member of staff on with a queue coming out of the door. The owner was contacted and was told it’s no concern of ours. I think it’s disgusting and very rude.

The food was over priced. We went am hour before closing and was told we couldn't have our sandwiches toasted as the oven was off and the selction of fillings compared to the other shop 5 mins down the road was appalling

Took my 8 year old in here today, what a nasty place ordered kids meal deal for my little one to which th lady wanted to put a piece of cheese which didn’t cover the surface of the roll which I questioned and was rudely told it’s what they do which has never happened in any other subway so asked her to put grated cheese instead which she slapped in the roll.moving on I ordered nachos for my self to which she wasn’t putting together very nicely so another memeber of staff took over.On opening the box I found a black hair in the nachos 🤮 totally gutted.Walk back to counter and show staff, who all look at me blankly no help what so ever, not even a refund nothing so I left without my food or my money. Yes I know they are only 99p but it’s not the point.

Terrible service and dirty. Never open on time! I came in at 7.40am and despite the opening time stating 7.30am the shop was still closed! Not the first time this happened. The staff is pleasant but the guy in the morning is always late and only starts setting up at 7.35 when it should be set up by 7.30. No large coffee cups only one size which is not great and a broken microwave. The 1 star is for staff being nice the rest zero stars!!!

Very nice food, only problem is I feel intense guilt whenever I order flatbread and meatballs, I know it's horrible for them to make, but it's just so good...

A subway is a subway but this one has outdoor seating so it's a good place to eat in the summer

It's a Subway, so you know what your getting for the money. Food always fresh no matter which branch you go to. Only downside is that it's quite small & only 3 seats inside & up to 9 seats outside on 3 small round tables.
