The food was absolutely stunning. We were really pleasantly surprised as booked it on a whim but will be going back for sure. A little gem of a find. Staff and atmosphere were great too.

Hidden Gem!!!The Flavour was unbelievable, I literally haven’t tasted food quite like it before.Abigail gave us brilliant suggestions to try from the menu and her customer service was second to none.It was also nice to speak to the owner who took his time to talk to us and share experiences we have had in common.I will definitely be eating here again!!

The majority of what we tried (house dips, halloumi, chicken, kofte) was delicious and well cooked. The homemade walnut baklava was unfortunately very bland, dry at the top and very soggy at the bottom. The atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant are great. Very friendly and accommodating staff. However, the portions are very small for their price, making it an overpriced restaurant -as far as I’m concerned. Would probably go back when I’m not too hungry ;)

The food was amazing! I’ve known about this restaurant for a while but only just decided to go last minute and boy was it the best last minute decision I made.First of all the staff are amazing. Abigail our waitress was really friendly and knew the menu well but also was able to relay feedback from other customers about particular dishes which I thought was a nice touch. The chef at the main cooking station was also very friendly and knowledgeable. A man who I believe was the owner was really friendly and you can see that he looks after his staff as the same attitude and friendliness filters down through to the rest of the team. Now time for the food! The food was absolutely sensational! We tried a few different dishes I’d recommend the halloumi which was just insane it had a nice sauce and was cooked in a way that I’ve never experienced! The beef kofte just bursted with flavour I was expecting flavour but not to this level, I literally had a euphoric moment when my eyes rolled to the back of my head! There was also a lamb dish which was amazing it had a really nice purée and was cooked to perfection . Oh and the olives, easily the best olives I’ve had. I’ll l 100% come back again and try more dishes!!!!

Some dishes were great some were average and some were poor, cocktails were great and service was fine. Too many things were missing from the menu and we weren’t told u til we tried to order them which will always lead to disappointment and led to an unbalanced menu. Also told after the meal that the menu is going to be changing and for example lamb cutlets being changed to lamb steaks so that’s a money saving exercise which will result in reduced quality so I hope that isn’t the reason or theme of the menu change. Also quite expensive for what it was.

Ever since they opened, I've been for family gatherings, social events and dates and every time it has not disappointed. The staff are always welcoming and have a positive attitude. They are attentive, happily explaining the menu and how food should be ordered making recommendations. The menu itself doesn't overwhelm with choice and is perfect for those with all tastes. There are plenty of veggie options and the wine is impeccably selected. The food is absolutely delicious and very well presented. The quality is evident. The portion sizes are perfect and not just stomach fillers (e.g. excess bread or rice). Every bite feels worth it. Please be aware that this restaurant is about sharing and each dish is made for it. There are no 'courses'. It's about ordering the dishes you want and they will arrive when ready. With all the above in mind, this does mean that the prices are on the higher end and with alcohol you can expect to spend around £40 per person if you also include desserts (which are also incredible, especially the Creme brûlée). This might seem expensive, but remember, it's about the experience, not just the food! Tabure is worth every penny in my humble opinion. If it's just the two of you and you'd like something different with a significant other, I'd highly suggest requesting seats at the chefs table over looking the charcoal grill! It's amazing watching the chefs work their magic and adds so much to the experience that most restaurants don't provide.

We have eaten here many times and also a few times in the Harpenden venue. We have also had take-away many times. The food has never been anything short of excellent. Highly recommended, dining in or at home. Also, the service is always lovely. We had a particularly nice experience at the weekend. We had dinner plans in London but due to a sick child we had to abandon and have an impromptu dinner party at home. Despite being very busy they put together a menu for 4 - selecting for us a good mix of their menu - for collection at 35 minutes notice. Food was piping hot and as tasty as ever. Thanks!
