This is simply a proper pub. Familiar. Cozy. Great staff who pay attention. A real home from home. Great to just pop in a grab a pint; or spend several hours with friends.

For such a small local bar this place makes a huge, friendly impression. They have had some great music on and the beer is really well kept. They have a well kept garden and I wish it was closer.

This is a lovely, characterful English pub that serves a great selection of ales that are rotated regularly. You can get nice food during the week and sometimes great basket meals on a weekend evening.
