It is an extraordinary restaurant which gives extraordinary experience for both sights and tastes. The dishes are very well presented with great surprises. Highly recommended.

Wonderful afternoon at The Ivy, St Albans!Luca the bartender made some truly delicious and amazing cocktails and regaled us with lovely stories of Sardina his home! The Espresso Martini was the best I’ve ever tasted !!Thank you Luca for making our afternoon very special

The place is well put together, beautiful well thought out restaurant decor. Staff are attentive and welcoming. I ordered the scallop starters which were nice... the food all came out nicely presented. My black cod wasn't how I know black cod to be (if you go to Roka or Nobu)... it was abit too dry and the side of pickled white veg it came with, tasted like Sambuca which wasn't pleasant. It's a lovely place to try but not sure id go back.

Great ambience, service was good. Fabulous cocktail and mocktail choices! The duck salad starter is my favourite and always delicious. The fillet steak was enjoyed by all! The apple tart was a show stopper. Will definitely return to the st Alban's venue once again!

This was my first time at The Ivy. It was lovely! The service was a tiny bit slow but other than that it was fantastic. The pastries were really nice, the food was really flavoursome and fresh and the interior was super cute. I’d definitely come here again.

This was a simply sensational birthday breakfast. What is nice about the St Albans branch is that it is a quieter one compared to the hustle and bustle of the flagship restaurants in Central London. The breakfast itself was fantastic. We ordered a classic breakfast and an Eggs Royale. Both were fabulous as were the accompanying oolong tea and coffee. Two glasses of house champagne finished our outing nicely. The restaurant has extremely good service and they added an impromptu birthday pudding (shown in the picture).

Dined here tonight with my fiance for a pre- valentines 💝 dinner, exceptional food , excellent service.Taylor the manager was exceptional from start to finish 👏, nothing was too much trouble.Would definitely recommend, and will definitely return at some point in the very near future.Staff are very accommodating to everyone's needs , very attentive indeed. Was even given a free desert on the house for our anniversary, unexpected, but a very lovely gesture 👏

I’ve been here many times before and it still remains my absolute go to place for something a little special without the hassle of going into the city. I often take my little one with me (4 year old)- the Children’s menu is GREAT! - and is a huge hit!. Great service, great food, lovely atmosphere!

I've been to this place two years in a row for my birthday (different branches) and have loved it both times! From the service to the food, everything is always amazing! Had gone for my birthday and they had arranged a lovely profiterole with a happy birthday message! Service was quick, food was hot, the waitress was wondering, ambience was amazing! Thank you for an amazing evening!

We had a lovely meal here last week. The place was buzzing but we sat at a table near the bar and felt quite Covid safe there. We had a couple of cocktails (Bad Santa and Snowy Libation) to start with and they were yummy. Then onto proper starters - Venison Tartare for me and Cheese Soufflé for her. Highly recommend both of these dishes. We followed with Lemon Sole and Chicken Milanese, again excellent dishes. We were suitably stuffed by this stage but managed to share a chocolate bombe - the dramatics did not disappoint!! Our waiter Lorenzo deserves a special mention as he was super attentive without being in your face and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We will be back 😊
