The Oddfellows Arms in St Albans

Popped in for a quick drink waiting to meet a friend on a warm summer evening. Small bar inside but there may be more I didn't see. Large beer garden to rear which seemed pretty full.A traditional English pub with a fairly extensive menu but nothing too fancy and all the better for that!

Solid old school traditional public house uplifted to superb by the great landlady , landlord and their team.Available for private hire. Will provide catering if required.Supports local community with special lunch deals for retired folk.Splendid afternoon teas.Use it or lose it.Recommended

We stopped here for lunch and decided on the fish and chips. It was superb! We shared an apple pie with ice-cream and that certainly topped off the meal. Great staff as well.

Such a lovely find!!I've passed this pub on visits, but never been inside before... What a treat! A feast for the eyes, with Christmas baubles all over the ceiling.The place is quirky, cosy and comfortable. The staff were lovely and friendly and the food delicious.We had the tuna wrap and the Halloumi & Mediterranean veg wrap. Both were beautifuly presented along with a cup of tea with the most adorable doormouse tea cosy. 10/10! We will be back!

A large, popular and lively beer garden/terrace.Book ahead to secure a table.Orders are taken at the front door of the pub and served from the back door. 🍕 and 🍟 are also available at weekends, not sure mid week as haven't visited then. Heaters only available at a few tables so wrap up warm if you plan to stay later in the evening

Lovely eclectic environment with lots of original memorabilia in the bars not the normal English kitch.The garden is very innovative with waterproof transparent pods and all sorts of interesting features. Haven’t yet sampled the food so can’t pass judgement but it seemed popular. Amazing xmas decorations with baubles on the ceiling and hanging lights and a festive garden and facade
