Proper old school boozer, traditional decor, good beer and a big range of traditional cider if that's your thing.

Nice pub just out of St Alban train station. Full of local people as it’s their fav pub even CAMRA pub of the year. Cool collection of cask n ales. Plenty of seatings on floor as well as back beer garden. Service is good. Staff was ok coz he was busy. Nice location n nice atmosphere. God to wait for ur train here rather than at platform 😝

·

Proper old fashion camra pub. No frills great choice of beers, friendly atmosphere well worth a visit. Its bigger than it looks.

·

Very nice, welcoming community pub, currently South Herts CAMRA pub of the region (2021). Serving three real ale on cask and three ciders you can ask for as a flight to try them all. Rest is usual macro beer fare.

·

Very nice local pub, staff were very friendly and a nice chilled out atmosphere

·

Met some friends for a lunchtime drink. Very good selection of beers and not far from the station. Pleasant surroundings and a nice beer garden out the back.

·

Traditional pub, close to St Albans City Station and not too far out of the City centre. But far enough to be a little quieter on busier nights and to get a seat!Staff are friendly and welcoming, plus the ales are well kept. Seems to get a good mix of locals plus passing trade.Haven’t tried the Pickled Egg Challenge yet!
