The Swan in St Albans

The White Swan, I'm pleased to say has retained the old world charm and has not changed in 50 years apart from the addition of Sky sports TV it is clean and the bitter was superb

One of the most pleasant Irish pubs I’ve visited in recent times. The staff were very friendly, particular mention to Michelle and Andrew. Guinness as good as home and would highly recommend.

A cozy pub, always somewhere to sit with decent beer options! There's even a hidden heated terrace, a very nice pub!

My favourite cosy pub in St Albans, lovely owners and staff and such a good vibe! Very busy on weekends which just shows how great this little bar is

Looked beautifully festive, barmaid was really friendly which made for a pleasant experience.

Nice pub, decorated nicely for Christmas.The star of the show was the lovely bar maid. I'll definitely be enjoying a snowball after she kindly reminded me about them today. I'll be back for another quick drink, when I next visit St Alban's.

This pub is in a great location, just off the main thoroughfare - and an ideal spot for the Wednesday and Saturday Markets.For me, and this is a personal preference, the pub is too dominated by TV screens and the volume is too loud when matches are on, so impossible to have a catch-up with friends. Also, as a cask ale drinker, I’ve seen occasions when two of the three on offer are unavailable.This pub is clearly a local’s favourite - just not for me.
