Super loved the food, worth coming back and queueing. The chicken special for the day is exceptional. Staff also very friendly despite being super busy

Well organised and busy eatery, with good staff, in St Albans. We went at 11am on a Saturday. There was a good queue and within 20 mins we were at a table. We went for the waffles and milk shake. They were good but nothing to write home about. I was spoilt by having an amazing and scrumptious waffle at a café in Corfu last year.

The waffles are delicious! The choice is great and the service is good! If you go at lunch time there is a queue rain or shine (we want at 1pm). We had to wait 20-30 mins. The sweet waffles are better than the savoury but all were delicious! The garlic waffle was a bit to oily and heavy for us. The other waffles we had were pulled pork and béchamel mushroom, banana and flap jack. On a previous visit we had pecan and butterscotch. The pecan has been my favourite so far. There is ample parking. When you go inside majority of the restaurant is under a Marquee but they have so many heaters that it feels warm. Can’t wait to go back!

Incredibly good waffles with a nice selection of savoury and sweet. Make sure you ask about the specials! They have lots of specials. Queue on a Sunday was about 25 mins at around 1PM. Coffee was excellent. Parking good, max 2 hours so keep an eye on the time. Breakfast options only served until noon. Ask for an indoors table if you want somewhere a bit more quiet than the outdoors tent. Service was really good and fast, and everything seemed really well organised.

For a place called Waffle House, the only real criticism I have is about the waffle. It got lost. The waffles are very thin in comparison to everything that gets piled on top and simply get lost and forgotten. This fresh whipped cream and caramel sauce was to die for - along with the chocolate and banana it was a winning combination, however it simply overpowered the waffle so much it was like the waffle barely existed. Having a better ratio of waffle to toppings would make this delicious food perfection. The coffee was strong and delicious and helped cut the sweetness of the waffle toppings - but a little more waffle would have been ideal.

Recently visited the Waffle House after many years. We knew it would be busy and were prepared to stand in queue for a table. Luckily it didn't take us long to get a table. The lady who served us was really friendly and we got our waffles+drinks pretty quick! My little one spilled her drink, and another lady who works there noticed this in the corner of her eye and was quick to help clearing the mess. Impressed! The waffles are so light and the combos are great. It was difficult for me to choose a dessert waffle, so the lady who was serving us suggested I get the pecan nut & butterscotch waffle adding Bananas, ice cream and whipped cream. It was a mad combo, but so so good!Definitely worth a visit.

I never thought I'd like savoury waffles, until I tried this place. Their ham and cheese waffle is amazing. We also tried the equally delicious BBQ pulled pork and the pecan and butterscotch.

A firm favourite in our house. We visit often for a Sunday treat or with a particular friend and her son. On this one occasion, we had a savoury and a sweet waffle (the blackforest special) and were not disappointed at all. Service is always really friendly even though staff are permanently run off their feet. On popular days you can queue for up to 45mins to sit down at a table but as long as it's not raining we don't care.Great to then have a quick wandering through the park but be aware that parking is restricted to 2hours!

We visited on a Saturday and it was very busy (waited for 20 mins for a table). Tried both sweet & savoury waffle and both are very good. Staff is friendly and the restaurant is pet friendly, which is a plus for us.

The waffles were delicious!I felt like we were rushed even though I understand it was busy but I’ve come all the way from London to celebrate my brother’s 40th birthday with our 90 year old grandma who’s first outing after nearly 2 years of being at home was to this restaurant. If it wasn’t for that then I think the experience would’ve been much more enjoyable. They could’ve also given us a table nearer to the entrance or exit so she wouldn’t have had to walk so much.It says on the website there’s parking for disabled customers but I couldn’t see any marked disabled bays.
