A cozy pub, always somewhere to sit with decent beer options! There's even a hidden heated terrace, a very nice pub!

My favourite cosy pub in St Albans, lovely owners and staff and such a good vibe! Very busy on weekends which just shows how great this little bar is

Nice pub, decorated nicely for Christmas. The star of the show was the lovely bar maid. I'll definitely be enjoying a snowball after she kindly reminded me about them today. I'll be back for another quick drink, when I next visit St Alban's.

My family came across The White Swan when we decided the woke caff up the road - however sweet the staff/owners are - wasn't for us (also it doesn't have a loo. A serious lack for ladies over 40!).We were made very welcome by Michelle and were able to sit and chat without having to shout over the noise of coffee machines, kids and wannabe influencers. The White Swan is possibly the nearest thing you'll get to a traditional public house these days and we were very grateful for it. I can't say what it's like on a weekend evening but if you want a friendly atmosphere with space to spread out and relax then this is a good choice. And, yes, there are loos.

Absolutely Terrible, my friend and I have have had to file a police report on one of the security guards for randomly assaulting us for no absolute reason.I would HIGHLY recommend staying away from this place for your own safety, from our experience they picked on the youngest people there and choked us out In front of everybody (again for no reason)

Went for a beer but they only had the standard 4 ones with no food as they are under refurbishment. Was expecting more effort, especially as it was supposed to be the "Beer & Cider festival" and they were mentioned in the event.

This pub is in a great location, just off the main thoroughfare - and an ideal spot for the Wednesday and Saturday Markets. For me, and this is a personal preference, the pub is too dominated by TV screens and the volume is too loud when matches are on, so impossible to have a catch-up with friends. Also, as a cask ale drinker, I’ve seen occasions when two of the three on offer are unavailable. This pub is clearly a local’s favourite - just not for me.
