Great authentic italian pizza... have been to italy many times and this is the best pizza i've had outside of the homeland... great staff could'nt be happier with the service and food is amazing

Ordered pizzas online on New Years Day - got a confirmation and went to collect to find they were closed. Have chased and chased for a refund as money was deducted - get fobbed off by staff that I need to email in and no response to email. VERY POOR now onto Amex to get refunded

They got it right.Little intro - I’m an Italian lad who has been living out of his country for quite a long time. And, in general, every time I see a pizzeria with astronomical rates, I tend to shiver…However, this wasn’t the case with the Yard pizzeria as I left the place quite satisfied.The pizza crust was tasty and not too soft / not too crunchy. The quality of the ingredients was simply outstanding, from starters to the pizza, I really enjoyed every little piece of what I ate. This makes a big difference.The staff was also really nice, I also liked the music they put on. V reasonable prices.I will come back again, for sure.

Came in after the lunch rush hour so we were the only people in there. The manager was super friendly and helpful. The pizza dough was resting in the trays behind the preparation counter and the mixer was working hard in the background. The chef took the order and started to hand-stretch the dough, which is always fascinating to watch. Both pizzas were superb; the crust tastes natural, the cheese is melted perfectly and they’re packed with fresh flavours. Really enjoyed it. We shared a tiramisu and it has to be the BEST tiramisu we’ve tasted for many many years! Highly recommend this hidden gem in Harpenden.

Loverly pizza ordered of just eat. However I did order mozzarella with freshly baked bread and what I got instead was just a ball of mozzarella costing no more than 50 pence. And no bread bit of a shame especially how nice the pizza was.
