Really lovely little pub. Warm, cosy, characterful and friendly staff. Food is solid - not fine dining, just tasty, generous and well priced. So pleased this is now our local!

A party of us visited for lunch to celebrate a birthday. What a difference to our last visit before the revamp!!! It was lovely and the staff so friendly and helpful. The menu was good and the food tasty and reasonable. We will most definitely be back soon. It was a very enjoyable experience. Thank you😊

Overpriced , very average food at best . Thinks it's better than it is , and that's not even mentioning the stupid fine happy car park owners . Avoid as so many nice pubs nearby . Would be convenient for me as walking distance from my home but just not worth a visit . With regards to your reply , processed frozen cheap chicken does not make a Hunters chicken , it makes a disgusting meal unfit for the menu it's shown on . This was me giving the pub not a second but third chance , and it proved as I said to be awful . You said out of your control I would say that's about right .

Dropped in for lunch to find boiler not working, but had blow heaters. Luckily one was by our table. Mens toilet not working, so men using disabled toilet. Staff on the floor were very pleased and kind, kitchen slow.

Went for lunch. The roast tasted delicious except it was practically cold. If it wasn't for the extra gravy being warm, it would have been sent back . Such a shame as food good and our waitress Pilar was excellent.

Shocking, was seated as soon as I walked in and waited ten minutes for the drinks to arrive. (Bearing in mind the pub was not busy at all) a further ten minutes to take our order after asking and 40 minutes for food to arrive! Had to ask Waiter where our food was and he proceeded to say as you can see we are very busy. I was served a poor roast dinner I should’ve stayed home! Yorkies were cold and veg soft and mushy. I have previously been here before and food was lovely such a shame it changed hands. Waitresses didn’t seem to have a clue what they were doing. And for what is was I wouldn’t have payed £15 and £4 for a Pepsi max. Will not be returning.

Brillant waitress. Most things we ordered not on the menu. Food overcooked and not much on the plate. King prawn cocktail tastless. Very expensive for what it was. 10.15 pm staff couldn't wait to get rid of us. Despite have qr code didn't get the discount. Left 3 messages and email still no communication. Won't be returning.

We met friends in the car park ready to go for a dog walk before having a drink and dinner at the pub. When returning from the dog walk, the car park was full of quite aggressive people shouting and revving motorbikes. We decided to go elsewhere for our dinner as a result, but ended up with an £85 parking fine?! Seems excessive given it's not exactly in a location many would want to park. Won't be returning.

Have just had my Sunday Roast here & I would highly recommend. The place is very clean, tidy & chilled vibe with roasts being served a lot longer than most places without compromising on quality.A special mention to Natasha who was a fantastic host, very attentive and friendly. We sat inside but there was plenty of outdoor space, blankets provided & dog friendly. We will definitely be coming back :)

Had a great Sunday lunch here with the family for my Dad's birthday. So helpful when I phoned to book and they gave us an area of the pub to ourselves. The food was delicious and plentiful and I'm told the vegan roast was excellent.Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Thanks to all.
