Tudors Restaurant in St Albans

Excellent service and fantastic value. Blade of beef was perfect. Starter wasn't bad either. Will be back 👍👍

The most dismal of places to drink in, in and around At Albans. Only use it on Xmas Walkabout. Dire is what it is, atmosphere? zilch! No idea why people drink here?

Dropped in for lunch on a whim, ordered a hamburger, thought it was a bit expensive. But it was a home made hamburger, really tasty and worth the price.

I went to eat with my friends at the Tudors restaurant prior to the firework displays in st. Albans. We were seated at a table, but were left on our own without any (drink) menu to look at. We had to find and take the menu ourselves.The restaurant itself looks alright, but it didn't seem like they were focused on proper customer service. We even had to go to the bar to say that we want to order. No one came by to ask whatsoever. We ordered fish and chips, but we had to wait around 40 minutes for it to arrive. I even had to remind the waiter of our order, which made me think they forgot our order. The food was alright, nothing worthy of mentioning. We thought 1 hour will be enough to order and eat prior to the displays, but in the end, we ended up missing the firework because of the delay of the food.

Dark and dismal with zero atmosphere, embarrassing to think tourists get to see this place and judge St Albans. Try other pubs first that way you can get a decent experience.Maybe one day they can brighten place up, and buy some white paint and better lighting.

Lovely small restaurant with adjoining pub attached to a hotel. Lots of atmosphere. Had a Groupon deal for steak and Prosecco with the family and weren't expecting much but were very pleasantly surprised. Nice food and friendly service.

Lovely staff, very welcoming, rooms comfortable, perfect location literally opposite the cathedral. Definitely come back.

This historic coaching inn dates back to 1470 and has been lovingly restored & maintained over the years. I can’t comment on the hotel aspect personally but guests appear to appreciate the individuality of the rooms.Been to the small bar area a few times and it has a lovely homely/cosy feel to it. Also had breakfast here twice, following working for a charity overnight! What I’ve always noticed is the friendliness of the staff, which is indicative of a well-management establishment. Would definitely recommend to friends visiting the area.

Lovely place great staff and yummy whitebait. Does have a limited menus though.
