Top quality coffee and delicious, made-to-order food. One of the best breakfasts in St Albans!

Great food and service! Loved the veggie brioche. Full English and coffee is pretty average but I’d go back just for the brioche. Decor is lovely and cute and the place is clean!

Visited on a whim this morning when we realised they are dog friendly. Very welcoming and friendly staff. They offered to bring the dogs a water bowl (even thinking to ask if they were ok to share or needed one each!)We ordered coffees, smoothie, toast and a breakfast brioche. Everything was excellent. I can't find fault at all. Will definitely be returning.

Went here on a recommendation, and we're really glad that we did - it's a lovely cosy independent cafe in the city centre, and felt warmly welcoming from the instant we stepped inside. Service was genuinely sweet, smart and friendly, and the menu really appealing, including an array of yummy breakfast choices (with great veggie and vegan oprions) and impeccable toasted sandwiches. We didn't have room for the home-made puddings (such as choc brownie, treacle tart and brioche bread and butter pudding) but they sounded absolutely lush. A big hit with three generations of our family, and highly recommended all round!

Popped in for a quick bite to eat. First time here. Lovely smells greet you as you walk in! Small, quaint & inviting. The flat white was suitably strong. The avo on sourdough toast with poached egg was absolutely worth the money paid. Happy I walked by!

Been here quite a few visits, today slightly let down as our two coffees were only luke warm.We were offered fresh ones but declined, as we would have been coffee logged. This was the only thing that let it down today, as the food and service we had was up to it's usual good standard.

Lovely cafe off the high street. Full English was well presented. Coffee slightly bitter but that’s just my personal preference. Whilst waiting to be seated the server thoroughly sanitised the table and chairs which was a procedure followed before other customers were seated, reassuring during these uncertain times. Staff were friendly and smiling and not over attentive.Following on from this there was adequate spacing between tables to make us feel safe.

Came here for a late breakfast and wasn’t disappointed!I ordered the Full English toastie and it was so good. Perfect way to start the day. Also had their Lemon and Blueberry cake with custard which was delicious. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely come back.

5 stars coffee, 5 stars soft food and brunch, 5 stars atmosphere and 5 stars stuff. I am regretful that I didn’t come here for brunch. I couldn’t understand the quality from the pictures on Google. They have a kids menu with various food. And the price of kids menu is fair. We found place walk in but BOOKING is recommended.
