Cafe Kottani in St Edmundsbury

Just moved to Bury and looking for a good café for coffee/lunch. I have been to Kottani a few times before when visiting as it's my kind of place! Good food, good coffee and good pastries. Perfect thank you!

Never disappointed when we have visited for lunch.The Mousakka is a homemade standoff, simply amazing.Larger portions than most light bites around the town centre.Accommodating to kids, although maybe not buggys due to space.Always full but someone is always leaving as we have entered #luckyCoffees are always piping hot and to barista specs.Definitely worth a regular visit and pleasantly situated in the middle of town.Not forgetting its also a local business too.Update: Have since popped in many times. Still always full of custom and the legendary Mousakka is generally available due to its popularity. My 11yr olds go to place to eat and celebrate. The panini's in her own words are 'really delicious'.

Tiny little place that we visited for lunch on a Saturday. Greek food, with everything from wraps to meze plates and some delicious looking pastries, cakes and baklava.I had one of the meze plates, which was good value for money at around £9, and everything was delicious!

Had an excellent lunch here yesterday - wraps with chicken and feta accompanied by salad and hummus. Very quick, friendly service and very good value. I would highly recommend it - a pity it is not open at night as we attend concerts at the Apex theatre and have a meal before the show.

Excellent menu choice. Good communication that food is freshly cooked and that it will take a while. Generous portions and very tasty.

Simple good value. Hard-working family-run business. Freshly prepared lunches (moussaka, gyros) and arguably the best espresso in town. It says much that you generally have to spot your opportunity to grab a table. If only they had more space!

When we take our boy to football, we like go to Kottani for coffee and pastry. Perfect!

Delicious Mezze, hadn't planned to go here but popped in on a whim and everything we ordered was top notch.

Had a wonderful unexpected lunch here, the mezze was absolutely delicious and the chicken gyro had a wonderful charcoaled flavour. Very authentic food and a real treat for a fantastic price.

The Meze was excellent, great selection, meatballs succulent, bread moreish, tzatziki fresh. The Phyllo spinach and feta pie was a savoury delight. Completely random surprise find on our tour of Suffolk, fantastic friendly service, a recommendation for sure 👌
