Let's start with the customer service, waitress which served as didn't seem wery happy being there any smile or event trying to be nice, she didn't even speak with us. Food was bad we had the pancakes with chocolate they were okay but the avocado and salmon toast was horrible, tasted like old oil there was missing ingredients and at first, we received the wrong order anyway. This was the first and last time we have visited.

Had a pre-show meal. Probably the worst service in ten years of eating here before Apex shows. Server was sullen, unsmiling and looked miserable. Olives arrived after starters. Soup had to be returned as not hot despite long wait under heat lamps (why did it sit for so long? - we could see it).Bruschetta plate very hot and tomatoes dried up from heat lamps. Chicken Milanese overcooked, with only a pile of rocket and a grilled standard tomato, not as described on menu. Serious issues here with staff recruitment, training and motivation in both kitchen and front of house. Wine very overpriced at over £7 for a large glass of ordinary house red. Considering eating elsewhere in future. Very poor compared with the previous owners.

I ate here with my partner on 31/12 @ 9pm.The food, service and overall experience was outstanding. A special thank you is deserved as the restaurant was told they could close at 8pm but because they already had our booking the manager decided to stay open rather than cancel our special occasion and delayed his own staffs planned festivities on site to accommodate us. We are very grateful and would whole heartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area 😊 Happy New Year one and all

Customer service was fine. Food was tired and looked/ tasted reheated. Cider was delicious. You can't really ruin that. Overall an underwhelming Nd overpriced experience though.

·

Unpleasant eating experience. Bread was cold and unappealing, all three pasta dishes were either overcooked, firm pasta with mediocre flavour. The steak was cheap, and poor quality. All round disappointing and whilst edible not enjoyable. Drinks were heavily overpriced, but basic - London price tag. Despite all this, staff were friendly and helpful. Will not be returning to eat here again.

I was expecting some fantastic pasta! I ordered the spicy sausage pasta... Well I don't believe there was any sausage in there nor any chilli or even pepper. It was very disappointing, I would not eat there again.

Went today, and it was excellent. Quick service and the pasta dishes were very tasty and cooked to perfection. Deserts also were very good. 5 stars from us, thank you 😋

The food was nice but the waiter seemed to have a bit of an attitude with the staff which left a sour taste in my mouth. He also brought our bill to us unprompted while my partner still had a full drink, I was planning on getting another drink. I dunno, just seemed a bit unprofessional. Other than that, I think it was pretty good and maybe he was having a bit of an off day.

Terrible!! Food was overcooked and far from fresh. Sent back the calamari as it was tough, a sure sign it was frozen. The sea bass, if that's what it was, was overcooked and not like any sea bass I've ever had.Over priced at £50 for two, including drinks.Stear clear! If it's a good meal you want, this is not the place!Dear sir.You asked me to contact your manager over a week ago. Which I have done by the email that you sent me. I have had no reply or any correspondence from your manager in response to your answer to my review. I think your manager needs training in customer service and to answer questions on why the food was so terrible.I don't think we will ever return again to your restaurant and we will let our friends know not to go to Carluccio's, as we found the food and management not up to a standard we would look for in a restaurant in the centre of Bury St Edmunds.
