Casa del Mar in St Edmundsbury

We were late but they still accommodated us.All the staff were lovely, welcoming and friendly, they made sure everything was okay.We ordered a few dishes and they were all tasty and my favourite is the chorizo in red wine.I was also in a predicament just before leaving but the staff were there to help out.Will be back again 😊

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines and gin selection. Tapas food and service all good. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations to help the night run smoothly in an obvious busy environment. Only recommendation would be that any service charge should be at the customers discretion and not presumed.

Lovely place. Lovely food. Lovely staff. My only downside was the price. 13 of us with shared tapas and a few drinks (average of 3 each) £50 per person. £650. I damn near fell off my chair.

Not really my thing. The food was ok, but the service was very slow. Understand its a "Mediterranean experience" but plates were forgotten for the 2nd course, some dishes were quick, then others really slow and when it came to pay, I had to search the staff out, who were all having a laugh with the barman. Maybe i should have had lower expectations, but the reviews are pretty good on here, and at £100 for 2 courses, I was a bit disappointed.. Maybe we caught them on an off night.

We ate first time in this restaurant in 2020 and we came back to Bury to dine specifically in this restaurant . Once again the food was amazing and we had great service . From beginning to end, the dining experience was absolutely amazing ! Special thanks to Brandon for looking after us . We will definitely be back . Thank you all 😊

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Casa. It was our first time and I was feeling a bit hesitant, I needn't have. Really nice food, excellent service. We'll be back.

I went here with a friend, our first impression was that the atmosphere, lighting and furnishing are lovely. The food was really good, we had a range of meat and vegan/vegetarian tapas dishes. We had ice cream and coffee, all lovely and well presented. The staff were all friendly and the chef Lee was happy to chat to us about the menu. There was a lot on the menu to choose from, so you may want to have a look online before making a reservation, prices are ok and the set menu is a good bet, but only if you are a party of four or above. All round lovely especially for something a little bit more special.

Awful food, every single dish was covered in pomegranate, koftas were foul and none of the dishes were even remotely faithful to the country. Staff were good and the place is beautiful but wow the food was awful. We had the group party menu with a selection of everything, but it was foul.

Every experience here is incredible! The food is unlike anything else in town. Some of the most delicious bites you'll find and tons of options for every dietary restriction. The staff is so friendly and accommodating and the vibe inside is so cosy and warm. Would most definitely recommend!
