What a delightful gem in Bury St Edmund's! Great value for money. For £27 p/head you get more bread and tapas style chorizo you can eat, dishes of olives then beautifully seasoned steak that you cook yourself on a stone. As fast as you add one piece to the stone, another appears on your plate to be cooked. Big dishes of French fries, coleslaw, creamed spinach and basmati rice. Must not forget the unlimited jugs of sangria! Service excellent and the place has a great, edgy vibe. Loved it and looking forward to returning!

"Nice gimmick but probably would not visit again"All in all we had a nice time in the restaurant but will probably not return. The Restaurant is relatively cramped and the pricing is okay, not outrageous but definitely not cheap.Food quality was good. Steaks and chicken off the menu were very good but the Special Menu 1 and 2 were not "Special". Do not get the Chorizo. Rubbery, Salty Disks and probably avoid the King Prawns as they were served cold and lacked in any real flavour. The hotstones were a fun little activity and staff did replace the unlimited steak very quickly. When the bill finally came it was also wrong however the staff were nice in dealing with it and corrected it quite quickly.

Dinner with my family was a wonderful experience at Cheers. The servers were attentive, steaks were well seasoned and the side dishes complimented our main dish well. We will for sure be back!

They had me at bottomless Sangria. 😁 Food was great, service was excellent and super friendly. The atmosphere was a bit loud, music was awesome but enjoyable, 5/5! Will def come back! Obrigado my friends!

So, I was very excited to experience Cheers due to the hype built up around it and other reviews. When we go there the atmosphere was okay, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the service was really quick. The food however was less than exciting: The chorizo and bread rolls for starters were really tasty and really set the meal up for a win, but it then went down hill from there. The rice and chips served with the dinner tasted as if they came from a packet and felt very processed - like those chips served at a burger van and an Uncle Ben's rice bag. The coleslaw was again mass made and wasn't very nice either. The meat was obviously cooked how we like it, and this wasn't a bad cut of stake, could have done with more seasoning from the get go. When given additional seasoning and condiments, they were served in single use plastics. In short the meal, was okay if a bit over priced. I really don't see the hype of this place and I was rather disappointed, with other restaurants of this nature there is a fun atmosphere, not sky news with the war in Ukraine while we eat.I feel that Cheers overall was no more than just okay, not spectacular, but service able.

Mmm this is a tough review as the staff are faultless. Prawns and muscles starter excellent, very tasty. Cheritho, a bit chewy and fatty. Steak, sorry guys not very nice tasting, too much salt and pepper, cheap cuts with no decent steak taste as such, odd bits are nice. Great concept, love supply of red wine and sangria. But steak a big let down, which was the main point of going. If u want to fill your belly, with some nice food, go ahead, but if your expecting more of a good steak, then not for me! Great service, all dishes popped up at speed. Waitresses are lovely.

Absolutely delicious and very good value for money! Staff are friendly and constantly topping you up with food and drink! Best steak I've had in a long time!

I was taken here for my birthday and choose the grilled salmon. It’s really not hard to cook salmon but it was over cooked and dry. “New potatoes” were tainted and were replaced with a batch that tasted worse. I was told they were freshly cooked but the replacements arrived in 5 minutes? Young waiter has worked there for 2 weeks and was very helpful.
