Costa Coffee in St Edmundsbury

Coffee OK bacon roll good ..service slow but girl was new so to be expectedGood variety of seating both in and out

It's tired, the coffee is weak, the staff don't seem to give a monkeys about the cleanliness of the place... its saving grace is its location. There's wayyyy better coffee shops in town that are worth a few more minutes walk.

Friendly staff, always plenty of sweet treats to choose from. Child friendly, nice bright space

Tried going to costa but when I walked up to two young employees smoking outside at 5:20pm, they said they were already closed. Their website says they close at 6pm yet they were outside wanting to smoke for 40 min? Update your website if you close at 5pm then.

Always good coffee, friendly and helpful staff. For some reason the prices of some food items differ depending on if you're eating in or taking away. Not sure why however.

Ordered an espresso and it was lukewarm at best. Unfortunate.

We used to come here a lot but recently this store has gone downhill- we visited today and the store was dirty and the coffee poor quality. Staff in another branch told us how the ingredients and processes Costa use have gone downhill recently in order to maximise profit, under new ownership, and it shows. The taste of the coffee wasn't very good and most of the staff aren't wearing masks either, something which you would expect when preparing food and drink. We are going to switch coffee chains as we have had too many poor coffees recently... bye bye Costa :-(

The coffee was about as good as you’d expect, but the problem was that my mug doesn’t seem to have been properly cleaned before it was given to me (see photo of the side of the mug).
