Edmundo Lounge in St Edmundsbury

The food is generally good. The restaurant has a pleasant vibe. The staff are nice. Our most recent visit we ordered burgers which were pretty good, bang bang chicken noodles which is my favourite dish here and sausage/chips/beans for our children. I had a side of spinach which seemed like it had been cooked in the sun or something, it was just completely dry and flaky 😅 not sure what they had done with it. I do have an issue with our latest visit, as my son who's 7yrs old was served his meal 15 minutes before the rest of us. We were only told this would be the case when they had brought his plate out. I queried the reason and the server said it had always been that way to serve children quickly so that they aren't waiting but it's never happened on any of our previous visits. I've heard of this practice but my son is 7yrs old, not a baby and at the same time they didn't do that for my daughter who is 9yrs old. It just seems very silly as he was completely finished in 15 minutes and then was left waiting anyway for all of us to finish so we kind of ended up rushing our meal and it defeated the entire point of having a family meal out together. We weren't having the food due to necessity, it was for a nice time. If it was urgency we would have simply grabbed a sandwich somewhere. So I wish the restaurant would address this and query individual customers at the time of taking an order, if they require this practice to occur.

Lots of options. Most of staff were friendly and helpful. It was quite busy so we ordered with the app drinks came after 20 minutes and food took around 40 minutes to arrive despite the wait the food was enjoyable and good value.

Wonderful restaurant; the only criticism would be the pitchers of cocktails are full of Ice! ... I spent 24 pounds on a big load of ICE and just 3 glasses of cocktail! Otherwise the food is very good the staff are helpful and the atmosphere is very happy, busy and cosmopolitan.

Came with my son, his wife, and 3 grandchildren. Excellent large table for seven. Colouring for the children. Good food selection. Good service. Excellent food! Lovely cheeseburger for me! Clean plates all round!

My absolute favourite place to go to eat and drink! I go here for breakfast most weekends because I just love their food! I also go there for dinner and drinks too! Highly recommend especially if you can’t decide what you want to eat they have such a big selection ofOptions

Honestly - My favorite place to go in all of Bury. I've visited this place for many years now, and I'd go every day if I had time. Such a warming, cozy and friendly atmosphere with unique interior, and dog friendly which is always a bonus!The food and drinks are amazing and great quality - plenty of vegan / vegetarian options too. They're always considerate when it comes to allergies also, and you can order via their website if like me, you're too socially awkward to go to the bar.I recommend their Sunday quiz nights too - always great fun whether you know anything or not. What really is the 'cherry on top' for Edmundo, is the staff. They're kind, friendly, and always do their best to help.I look forward to visiting again and again!

Great place to take the family as they cater for all ages. Things to do as if you were at home. Like having your own huge lounge. Food excellent! Really good burgers. I don't usually eat then but these were great!!

Oh dear Edmundo's....surely you can do better than this. We have eaten here several times for your lovely breakfasts and have had good service. Came into town today and said to my Wife I will buy you lunch at Edmundo's. Big mistake. Lacklustre service from when we stood waiting to be seated, even though at 3.30pm, it was a quiet time. These meals were lukewarm and of childlike portions. Coleslaw barely a teaspoon and not enough chips. Very uninspiring and no resemblance to the Menu description.In fact after eating this we were still hungry so bought something to take home from the local Butcher around the Corner. We do not eat big portions, but these meals were very poor.

Came by on a Monday lunch time. I was seated promptly and was instructed about the online ordering and payment process. The interior decor and atmosphere was really cool at this restaurant. Plenty of seating/space outdoors, indoors and upstairs. I was asked if I had food allergies or wanted the vegan menu or the regular menu. My experience was service was very pleasant. The food: croquettes, fish taco, and calamari were alright, but the chicken taco was very delicious.
