Francela Restaurant in St Edmundsbury

Brilliant food, brilliant service, brilliant restaurant! Eddy and the team were very nice. I left my shopping bag in the restaurant and Eddy purposely made sure he found me to ensure I got it back.Lovely place. Lovely food!

This was out first visit for a special occasion. Staff are very friendly and the service is fantastic if a little rushed. The quality of the food was faultless and it all made for a very enjoyable evening. We would definitely eat there more often if it were not for the prices, which I think are far too high for most of us. Even with the £20 eat out discount it was still £80 for two of us with 2 courses, 1 beer and 1 bottle of the cheapest wine - ouch!

A lovely Birthday meal with superb hospitality. Glad we skipped some other restaurants and went for the number 1 in Bury rather than a Michelin rated place. Highly recommended!

Impromptu visit for us but a great choice. Excellent staff and service. We had the early dinner menu with starters and main meal deal. Very tasty food and good price. We followed with baklava from the specials board. Very appreciative of the on the house amaretto shot and Turkish delight to finish. Would highly recommend and we will certainly visit again.

Lunch special offer is great. Delicious food, generous portions and great service. Will definitely come over again!

Had the most wonderful evening. The food was out of this world and the service was exceptional. Felt so comfortable and was made to feel so welcome. Even though we live in Colchester we’ll certainly be travelling back to eat here again.

Me and two friends visited Francela in Bury St Edmunds for the first time. We pre-booked, were greeted at the door and our table was ready on time. The quality and value of the food, drinks and service was superb, very tasty and fulfilling. Throughout the evening we felt very comfortable and relaxed, enjoyed the light background music, atmosphere and was treated well by the attentive staff. Had a great time and are looking forward to our next visit! Would highly recommend!

Never left a review before but I had a really nice meal here. Went here for a celebration meal, lived in Bury my whole life and had never been. The staff were extremely attentive and so friendly, the food was exceptional, really is a little gem in Bury and I can’t wait to go back :) one of the staff members showed me his Facebook page where he makes baklava but I’ve lost it so if he sees this please let me know what it is!!

I had a fabulous birthday celebration with five friends. The service is fantastic, nothing is too much trouble, and the food is superb. We were made so welcome and I was made to feel so special, including a surprise ice cream cake complete with candle and a bottle of wine to take home.Thank you again… until next time. Lucy

A friend and me enjoyed a delicious lunch here today. The service was warm, friendly, polite and efficient. The food was full of flavour and beautifully presented. We will definitely be back.
